RITE-A-WAY SERVICES ripoff warranty to repair RIVERSIDE California

Rite-a-Way is s total rip-off company. We had previously used them under our home warranty to repair a leak. I believe their charge was $700.00. So we realized that our upstairs toilet was leaking down to our first floor. We called my home warranty and they sent them out again.

The technician came out and checked out the leak. We were already going to pay $45.00 for the service call. So it turns out that my warranty was not going to cover the repair. The technician then told us that for $150.00 he could remove the toilet and fix the problem. So we said Ok.

So the charge was now $195.00. After he removed the toilet he decided to charge an extra $475.00 to fix the problem. So now the charge was $670.00. We said that was way to much money to fix a simple leak.

We were forced to pay the $195.00 because we signed the contract, thinking that the problem would be fixed. So we basically paid Rite-a-way free money. I then called another contractor and he said the repair was no deal deal. The charge to repair $80.00. Rite-a-way is a total ripoff. I recommend not to use them. If you do, make sure you know what you are signing for.
