I ordered a camera on May 6. I contacted Ritz customer service the same day becasue they had the incorrect shipping address. (I am still unsure how they had an old address through PayPal when I had placed an order through eBay the day before and that person managed to send my item in a timely manner to the correct address.) I was told the item had already shipped, despite the fact it was litterraly 15-20 minutes after I had placed the on-line order. (At this point I also deleted the old address from my PayPal account). I was provided a tracking number. The tracking number did not show up as being picked up by the USPS until May 12.
Between May 6-May 12, I contacted Ritz's customer service 3 times and asked them to check the tracking number. On May 13, I called customer service after realizing that the item had only been picked up by the USPS on May 12. I was placed on hold and asked if I could be called back. I received a voice mail message later that day informing me that they were returning my item to the warehouse instead of delivering the item I had already paid for. I once again called customer service and was told that they no longer sold the item and I would be refunded my money once they received the camera back in their warehouse.
Since May 13, I have requested an immediate refund several times but have been refused. I feel like I am been penalized by their lack of organization and feell that they likely sold me an item they never had in stock to begin with. Further, the compay was deceptive by telling me they had sent the camera, instead of truly checking their records to make sure it had been mailed.
