RJM RJM, FINGERHUT AXSYS NATIONAL BANK fraudulent collections account ripoff SYOSSET New York

This fraudulent collections account has appeared on my credit report for almost 5 years. The balance is $1,125!! Fingerhut claims the account was first established in July of 2000, in Indiana, which is impossible considering I have lived in NY state since July of 1999. All attempts to have this removed from my report have been in vain. Now RJM maintains the account, which makes it appear as a new negative item on my credit report. These companies have been no help at all in resolving the issue. Whenever I have been able to get ahold of someone, I am just told the amount is correct and I need to pay ASAP. I refuse to pay, and support a class action lawsuit in this matter.
