R.M.A. Legal Network Big Time Mortgage Scam Holbrook, New York

I was having problems with my mortgage Company HFC Beneficial and getting a permanent loan modification. For the last 2 years I have been getting temporary loan modifications 6 months at a time and the payment was reduced to $1,078. In June I received a call from a gentleman named Anthony Beltran from Professional Legal Network Inc. telling me they were instructed by my mortgage company to call me to work on a permanent loan modification. After giving him the required information he told me that I was eligible to get a permanent loan modification for $890 monthly payments. In order to get this I had to make 3 monthly, good faith payments of $890 to show the mortgage company that I was able to make payments in that amount, so I agreed. I was then turned over to R.M.A. Legal Network and I sent in all the necessary paperwork and was told the process would begin after the first payment was made, and supposedly it did.

After the second payment was screwed up by their company they put the process on hold until the third and final payment was made. After a couple week of not hearing anything I contacted my mortgage company and they had not been contacted by the firm or anyone else regarding the modification. I left an angry message with anyone who I could contact at the firm regarding the situation. A few days later I received a phone call from Phyllis the customer service manager with the firm and she told me she would get the process expedited. Two days later I heard from Lisa Ann from their Loss Mitigation Department Telling me I needed to send over all the paperwork I had already sent previously but with updated paycheck stubs and bills.

On November 29 I received a call from Lisa Ann telling me "I have good news I got your modification. It's a 6 month temporary loan modification and the payments will be $1,078 a month." I mentioned the fact that was already the modification I was currently under and how upset I was paying them $2,670 for them to do nothing. I then mentioned the previous modification that was quoted to me and she said that was never told to me by anyone in the firm and sorry but there are no guarantees.
So I paid them money for them to provide no service what so ever. THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF AND A BUNCH OF SCAM ARTISTS STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
