THIS COMANY, ROYAL TRANSPORTATION GROUP OUT OF VAUGHAN, ON TOOK AN L.T.L. SHIPMENT GOING TO SALT LAKE CITY, UT WHICH WAS TO PICK UP ON DEC. 18th, 2012 AND DELIVER ON DEC. 24th, 2012, when the freight was booked with them, they agreed to the delivery date advising that it would be a team of drivers taking the freight and gave us an inflated rate for the two skids to the final destination on the agreed date of December 24th, 2012. THEY DID NOT EVEN CROSS THE BORDER UNTIL THE MORNING OF DECEMBER 22nd LEAVING ONLY A DAY AND A HALF TO TRAVEL 1,670 MILES IN LESS THAN IDEAL WEATHER CONDITIONS WITH ONLY ONE DRIVER, THEY DID NOT EVEN STAFF THE TRUCK WITH A TEAM! THEN THEY CALL OUR OFFICES AND TELL US ON THE 24TH THAT THE DRIVER IS IN LARAMIE, WY AND CAN'T GO ANY FURTHER DUE TO BAD WEATHER CONDITIONS. IN THE MEANTIME, WE HAVE OTHER TRUCKING COMPANIES REPORTING THAT THE ROAD CONDITIONS ARE PASSABLE. WE HAD TO HAVE OUR CUSTOMER DRIVE FROM SALT LAKE CITY TO LARAMIE, WY (ALMOST 400 MILES ON A ROAD THAT ROYAL SAID WAS TOO BAD TO DRIVE ON, HOW DID OUT CUSTOMER MANAGE IF THEY COULDN'T) TO PICK UP HIS OWN FREIGHT, THEN TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, THEY REFUSE TO RELEASE THE GOODS TO OUR CLIENT UNLESS WE GUARENTEE THEM IN WRITING FULL PAYMENT OF THE ORIGINAL RATE EVEN THOUGH THEY DID NOT TAKE THE GOODS TO THE FINAL DESTINATION.
DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORD OR THEIR SERVICES AND THEN HOLD YOUR FREIGHT FOR RANSOM.
