RPG Art Gallery Inc. / Dennis Burton Sent a Cashier Check for $1970 with instructions to send $1630 via MoneyGram Fort Worth Texas

I received an email about a job becoming an accounts rep. I responded, and they sent me a check for $1970 with these instructions:

FIRST TASK

Please follow the instructions below carefully and completely.
1. In order for you to complete your first Task, take the payment you have received to your bank and have it Cashed OR Deposited into your bank account Funds Clears Overnight if deposited and not cashed instantly.
2. Once you have cashed the Check I need you to send the excess fund via MONEYGRAM as follows to my Arts Supplier:

A. Deduct your Task pay of $200
B. Then from the balance left set aside $140 to cover the wire transfer fees for the  transaction from MONEYGRAM
C. Send the remaining funds Through MONEYGRAM according to the instructions
below.
You will be using MONEYGRAM  Wire Transfer(10 MINUTE SERVICE) to send the balance to my shipper of Arts Supplier.Use Money Gram Service From Any CVS Store OR Advance America Store Around You:

2. Reference Numbers(8 digits) For Funds sent 

You can also reach me by email or by phone once you deposit the check in your account and once you send the money the following day.
Complete First Task so we can move on to other subsequent Job.

I checked online for possible scams by this company and names, and came across one on this site and several other sites with this persons name, but using business names starting with RPG in the name. I searched the web for RPG Art Gallery Inc. in New York Nas using the address in the letterhead. I also searched several different phone book company's online and the results were No Business Found. It is my belief this company is a fake, and used to scam hard working people out of their hard earned money. I was scammed like this years ago by another company and person. I responds to these emails in order to help law enforcement scratch them. I am awaiting another check that has been sent by FED Ex from another company and person. I will report this as I get more information. I am turning over the checks and envelopes to the local police.
