Hello, First I would like to start off by saying I am not 1 to complain! In all reality it will not do me any good to make any bad Announcements regarding them. I am doing so because I feel that somebody needs to put a stop to this. They are a complete ripoff, That targets people With little to no credit Background, And/ or are on A limited amount of income. I know of several people that have been Taken advantage of by them, At rpm Auto Sales, Located IN Lansing, MI on South cedar! Do yourself a favor and do not go there I know from personal experience, First hand the poor quality And lies that they will tell to get your money! I put 1500 dollars down On a vehicle, And was told that it was 1 year same as cash, Then I made payments of 250 dollars Every other Monday. I quote (I was never late) On not 1 payment! The car I was purchasing I was told to be 10,000 dollars... After about 10 month, Near the time I was expecting to pay the vehicle off in full, I asked them at rpm, How much my payoff was? They told me I owed approximately 9000 dollars... Now if you do the figuring, even with the plates in taxes, 1 year same as cash doesn't seem to be the right amount, or maybe it's just me! So I decided since I had been making on time payment for almost a year now, my credit should be extremely well after 10 months. Boy was I wrong! There promise, advertisement, clearly state, they will help you build your credit 1 month at a time! Once again another LIE, I know because I attempted to refinance, Even though I knew that that Pay off amount was not right... When I did so at my bank, I was told that my credit was not good enough. While talking to the loan specialist regarding the fact of why I wanted to refinance, He also seemed confused as to why my credit was not up there, Do to making several payments and having all the receipts. So he look deeper into my credit report, Only to find, Rpm only ran my credit The day I went there to get the vehicle. Not once Did they report My on time payments! The only reason I wanted to finance a vehicle, Was to build my credit. Due to the fact I own my own house, And paid in cash. I contacted rpm, In regards to my credit. They said their system has been down on that side! But within the next couple of months it should be on there! Which Would have put me over a year! Another thing you might not realize, Every year You get 25 percent interest on what you OWE... Also there promise to fix everything is wrong with the vehicle within 30 days is another lie! I took the vehicle to 3 mechanics myself... Gave them my list Of items the next Business day after purchasing. 10 months later, And dropping my car off for whole days at a time! My car still HAD NOT been fixed. Now once again this is my opinion, First Hand my experience! So please be cautious if you decide to go there! It's more like renting A car unless you're paying in cash!
