This Company is unbeleivable. I kept getting calls on my I.D. caller from them, but they would never leave a message. I don't answer calls I don't know, and if they won't leave message, even though my recorded message explisively says to leave a detailed message, I won't call the number back as I am sure most people wouldn't.
I called my Dad yesterday and he mentioned in conversasion that someone had been calling for me, mind you, I haven't lived in their home for 17 years, and only use their number for an emergency contact number. My father told them that I didn't live there and hadn't for many years, they told him that his number was the only number they had for me. Well, they had my number a few months ago, they just won't leave a message. My father asked them to quit calling, they have called at least 3 times, and in response they told him that since it was they only number they had they would continue to call until he gave them my information which he won't do.
They are ruthless to bother parents at home, especially when their children haven't live with them for at least 17 years and are lying about not having my home number. They are violating the law and and this kind of crap needs to stop.
I want to know how the heck they even got my parents number in the first place? How much access do these kind of people have to your personal info and where do they get it?

Always use legal remedies

AUTHOR: Ron12345 - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 26, 2015

The only way to deal with this company is to sue them when they violate the law or engage in unethical practices.  Also please use all your remedies at the credit bureaus and with the FTC and your state's Attorney General.  In addition, I would not pay them a cent on any claim unless they sign an agreement that the final payment constitutes a full and final settlement of the debt, prohibiting them from reselling or transfering the debt in the future.  The agreement should also include a stipulation that they have to remove the debt as unpaid from any credit bureaus within a specified period after the settlement.

Hahaha. Ya they're calling you because you didn't pay your bills... They are just doing there job. And I really don't consider 14.50 an hour minimum wage. Maybe if you would have paid your bills in the first place you wouldn't be getting collection agencies calling you. Lol this is soo funny. Good luck fixing your credit now ;)

Get a real job and become a productive member of society, instead of being a comic book villain for minimum wage.

HELP PLEASE

AUTHOR: Paper - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 21, 2009

I'm currently dealing with these people. I fixed every item on my credit back in Feb of 2009, I was going to buy a house and was pre approved. I am on the finally check with my bank and last month these people RPM updated my credit report with a sprint account that had not poped up and I forgot about.. I have asked them twice now over the phone to remove this if I pay them in full. They keep telling me that they can not do this...but everything I'm reading is saying that they can. I am not even asking to drop the price of my bill I just want to pay it and have them remove it from my report by sending me a letter/email saying they will. I also just found out they have a system that gives them an update any freaking time somone runs my credit report. So I think they saw that and then posted the d**n collecton on my report. Can they even do that, they've had my account from 12-9-09...please help what can i do to get them to take it off once i pay them. I'm really thinking about just spending even more money and getting a d**n lawyer.

thanks for any help you could give.... These people make no sense.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Useful Information

AUTHOR: Madamenoir - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, May 02, 2009

I was a training manager for these people for a while. Here is what happens:

Years and years ago they purchased software that allowed them to search a national directory by someones name to get previous contact info for them. While I was there is was because we were collecting on cell phone bills and it was super hard to get a hold of people when their cells had been shut off. however, the database in the directory was NEVER updated (the owner is rather cheap). SO, they had access to your parents number because that is how old their info was.

Regardless of what they are collecting on, you really only need to do two things if you do not want to deal with them. Here is the info you need to know about this!

1) If you have the letter they sent you (if they got it to the right address) get your account number off of it. Usually a fairly long number at the top of the letter. If not, call the toll free number, give them your DOB and they can look up your account for you. Get their PHYSICAL address off the website ( receiveablesperformance.com) and mail them a letter of cease and desist. In the letter state your account number, your home number, and your parents number. State that you do not wish to be called and prefer to be contacted by mail. If you can afford to, send it registered, if not it may take longer. Once they receive the letter they have to mark your account DNC.

2) The people calling you are lowly worker bees, they get in trouble if they dont say certain things, or push a certain way. There is a guy that runs their shift that works whats called a dialer that auto dials based on input from the operator (ie. pacific coast, east coast, ect) Technically they can call your residence as many times as they want between 8AM and 9PM 7 days a week, but once they have actually SPOKEN with you, and confirmed it was YOU they were talking to they have to mark the account RPC (right party contact) which takes you out of the dialer for the day. They are only allowed to actually speak to you 3 times a week. Make sure no one tried to impersonate you (that only eggs them on) and make sure no one impersonates your wife. If you have to do any business with these people call in the toll free number and ask for the inbound supervisor. They are much more aware of the laws.

I hope this helps you!
