The card provided for use with the receiver failed to function. After four months and three cards later, I finally received a card that would activate the receiver, but the card was not coded to provide the Ultimate TV service. After talking with dozens of people at Radio Shack and Directv customer service, no one could seem to correct this condition.
The Directv response, in general, was that they could not help me other than they would be more than happy to sell me the service. I got the feeling they thought I was trying to pull some sort of scam. The Radio Shack folks on the other hand just seemed to give me the run around i.e. the person I needed to talk with was out of the office, but would return my call when in ... of course the call never came.
This is a condensed version of the story. There are additional happenings that would irritate the heck out of you. Needless to say I feel I have been treated very poorly and have wasted a huge amount of my time trying to correct the problem making wish I had never done business with Radio Shack or Directv.

This SKU has nothing to do with free service. It's the service SKU Radio Shack uses to track the money DirecTV paid Radio Shack for selling you the dish. It's an abbveviation for DirecTV Commission Service SKU. Because it was printed on the receipt and didn't cost you anything it's listed at $0.00.
Sorry for the confusion.
