Randy Meadows Automotive of Jacksonville Illinois cheats local family by charging outrageous fictitious fees. Imagine being charged hundreds of dollars for a few repairs that should only take 30 to 45 minutes, at the most. Well that's what Meadows Automotive did the day we bought in our vehicle for a few fast small repairs. Randy the owner and the mechanic intentionally kept wasting time so they could charge more money.

With a shop rate of $70 per hour you would think that they could make their money honestly, but instead they choose to prey on honest, hardworking folks. They tried to create additional work by informing me of other things that supposedly needed fixing, which makes you wonder..."How can they justify charging you labor fees for the additional time they took trying to create extra work to do?"

The owner was very unaccomodating and would not answer basic questions and charged over 50% more that there estimated charges. By the way the estimated charges were supposed to be a maximum fee for the labor and materials. On top of that they didn't even complete there repairs, and they advertise that your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Evidently it's their satisfaction that is guaranteed because when I told them that I was not satisfied with the repairs and the owner, Randy Meadows, said you can fix it yourself, and also said he could've charged me a lot more money if he chose to do so.

It appears that the owner is under the false impression that he can print money on demand by preying on innocent customers that don't have automotive repair knowledge, but I'm on a crusade to make sure that maggots are publicly exposed for what they are. You shall know them by their fruits!

Meadows Automotive has negative reviews because they're dishonest, unprofessional, lazy, trifling thieves!


To the Meadows Automotive Workers I say:

1. The way of the Wicked will be turned upside down!
2. You will perish with your evil deeds.
3. You do the works of your father, SATAN!!!

Another thing that thoroughly perturbed me is the fact that my little girl, young women, and ladies have to see grown men with their "REAR ENDS" EXPOSED. This is disturbing and disgusting...and it reflects their service, morals and lack of professionalism. And for goodness sake, I hope someone teaches them to use soap and water to rid themselves of the outhouse like odor emitted from their bodies. The owner has to be about 60 and should hire help that knows what good personal hygiene is...Oh I forgot, FIRST he should lead by example...and keep his own pants up...and keep up his personal hygiene, then he can ask his help to do the same without being a hypocrite.

I personally think that Meadow's Automotive did an OK job on my car, but I won't be back due to their high prices and the "low rent" waiting room. The victim's complaint is dead on, Meadow's Automotive uniforms and dress code could use a makeover, they do need to keep their britches up and take pride in the way they look. A quick visit to an oil and lube franchise and you see a huge difference in cleanliness and a professional dress code.

I'm not sure what's going on with the Jesus talk, but I do think that the victim has a right to be upset about high prices. Charity was not mentioned by the victim and the Jesus coming down to do automotive work statement shows that the consumer making such a comment must think it's alright to charge excess amounts, obviously not be a God fearing person...since the complaint is clearly about excessive charges, unprofessionalism, dishonesty and punishment.

Dishonest people will be dealt with according to most religious writings...

My thanks goes out to the victim for filing this report, because you're not the only one who feels this way. I'm sure there are more of us out there, it's too bad that businesses continue to ignore the obvious, rather than take a look at their discrepencies and create a better experience for the customers! After all, it's hard to keep a business going without customers, but some people never learn.

What were you even talking about?  You never mentioned what sort of repair you had done or the cost.  If I place a wrench into the hand of baby Jesus, will he turn that wrench for you?  Will Jesus come down from heaven and repair your vehicle charitably under the name of GOD?  If the repair facility you are complaining about does charitable work in the name of GOD on your vehicles, will your return the favor and provide any sort of charitable donation?  Or will you expect God to return the favor on your behalf?  Do you use God and Satan as a crutch for everything else in your life?

You are wicked and ignorant for even posting such an ignorant comment online.  Take a look in the mirror prior to casting stones.  Do you really think you are any better than the next person in God's eyes?
