This company, Rankage.com took more than $500 from our company, provided absolutely no services, and failed to reply to every inquiry about our purchases. We opened disputes on Paypal, and Rankage.com even failed to reply to either of the disputes.
Unfortunately, Paypal will not protect you from this type of ripoff, saying only:
"We are denying your claim because your purchase was for a virtual, digital, or intangible item, which is not covered under PayPal Purchase Protection."
Rankage.com claims on their website that they are able to improve their customers' Alexa website rankings. Alexa is the premiere Web information company owned by Amazon.com. However, you can look at this report and see that Rankage.com can no longer even rank themselves:
The report linked above shows that Rankage.com's website fell totally off Alexa's radar in October of last year. If you are thinking of signing up for Rankage.com, our advice is to forget it. In our opinion, they are simply taking money, doing nothing to earn it, and will most likely be under investigation soon.
