I paid $800 for guaranteed leads from this company and all I received were fake made up leads none of which were able to be contacted by phone or email.  After several attempts to try to get my money back the company just said they fulfilled their end of the deal and that was that.  I would STRONGLY recommend staying away from this company and their fake leads which they sell.

I have had success with Real Estate Pal

AUTHOR: Steve - (United States of America)

I was surprised to see a ripoff report on Real Estate Pal.  They are expensive, and yes I have had my share of frustration over that lead that puts in Donald Duck or whatever.  With that, I used them for about 3 months in Dallas and closed 2 deals.  I also had others in the pipeline, but got out of the business.  I am using them again in OKC starting Feb.  I am quick to become frustrated with lead companies, so I do empathize with you Alberto.  I have to say, you must have just had an unfortanute month to start off.  I think they are probably the best service I have used.  You can look me up on www.pruhomequest.com and see this is really a Realtor.  They don't have contracts, they are month to month.

You are Mistaken

AUTHOR: James - (United States of America)

I have been with Real Estate Pal for 4 years. I spend a lot of money each and every month with them and get excellent service. I have been in Real Estate for 29 years and they do a great job. The company always returns calls, responds quickly and is always eager to know how is business. They are in the lead generating business. My leads arrive each and every day. If there is ever a question, they take care of it. This is one of the best companies I have ever worked with.

I think you are mistaken because you are not communicating to them exactly what type of clients you would like to receive. Leads are leads, unfortunately they are not all buyers. Real Estate Pal has always produced what they have promised.

I strongly recommend them.

FAKE LEADS, FAKE REVIEWS, WOW!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY

AUTHOR: alberto - (United States of America)

FAKE LEADS, FAKE REVIEWS, WOW!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND "BEN" (IF YOU'RE REAL WHICH YOU'RE PROBABLY NOT) THE COMPANY WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY EVEN AFTER MANY MANY REQUESTS.  TO THE OTHER PERSON THAT POSTED ON HERE, I UNDERSTAND HOW WEB LEADS WORK. I ALSO UNDERSTAND WHAT A REAL LEAD IS AND WHAT A FAKE LEAD IS.  BACK IN 2005 I WAS EARNING A COMFORTABLE $300K / YEAR BUT LIKE MANY OTHER REALTORS AND LENDERS I LOST EVERYTHING AND AM TRYING TO GET BACK IN THE BUSINESS BUT THIS COMPANY IS NOT ONE THAT WILL HELP YOU AS THEIR SALESPEOPLE OVERPROMISE AND AND UNDERDELIVER.

The Real Real Estate Pal

AUTHOR: Florida REALTOR - (United States of America)

My wife and I are REALTORS in Florida, and have been in business since '96 or '97.  We became customers of Real Estate Pal some time around 2000-2001-not really sure when.

We have been multimillion dollar producers every year since-including the "dead years", consistantly being in the top 10% in a company with 100 active REALTORS (+/- from year to year).  At least 95-98% of our business is from Real Estate Pal leads.

I gladly admit that not all our leads are good, and that we have to be sharp and quick to maximize (I've had customers tell us that they came to us because we were the only ones of 6 contacted that actually responded), but I look at people who changed jobs because they did not have an internet connection, and thus no business.

I can only assume that this individual did not properly work their leads, and therefore it has to be some one else's fault.

This review is a HOAX!

AUTHOR: Ben - (Virgin Islands (US))

I have used Real Estate Pal for the last 6 years at almost $800 per month, and would say I get 10x my investment back annually. They are the most affordable lead generation site out there, and have excellent customer support. I am 100% sure that if they were not performing, they would refund your money. One month way back they had problems with my account and Google, so they refunded my money. As with all Internet leads...they do take some time to materialize, but I promise you if you put in even a half assed effort with them, you will see a great return. Honestly, I don't even want to put my full name down, because they have been of so much benefit to me over the years that I don't want my competitors to see my fl name linked to this.

Real Estate Pal

AUTHOR: Byron Short - Broker - (United States of America)

I have to show some support for Real Estate Pal here.  I've been using this company for about 2 years, and I find them to be top notch.  Prior to using REP, I used a few other lead providers with varying degrees of success.  I have since dropped all of them, and the only leads I buy from third party resources are from REP.

I can tell you beyond a doubt that there are a few "fake" leads in any system.  But what the complainant is describing is statistically not really possible.  The leads are generated through web forms filled out by folks that have clicked on a search result after typing in keywords.  Some folks fill in fake data, it's true.  But the vast majority enter true data.  In our company, we find about 90% of email addresses are real, and about 70% of phone numbers are real.  To run into a streak where 30 in a row give both a false email and false phone, is not statistically viable.  So based on my experience (with REP and with others who I used prior to REP), this is hyperbole at least, and an out and out lie at worst.

I have a lot of experience working with web leads.  I talk to PLENTY of agents who swear that web leads don't work, that they are all fake, and that they are a waste of time.  GOD BLESS THEM!  Nothing is easier than having folks like this for "competition"!!

The truth is, the number one reason that web leads fail is because you don't have a good plan for what to do with them when you get them.  One agent recounted for me how much she had spent on a web lead provider (not REP, and about 3X the price by the way), and how she never got a good lead.  To her, they were obviously not worth the money.  As luck would have it, I hired that agent 2 years later.  She's now been with me 6 months, and has closed 4 deals from web leads in that time.

If you already KNOW how to make money from web leads, you'll love REP.  If you don't, but you are willing to work hard and learn, you'll like it the first year, and love it after that.  This is not a way to be "famous by Friday".  This is a solid, repeatable, lasting business plan that rewards hard work.

You Need to Understand How Web Leads Work

AUTHOR: Tania - (United States of America)

I have been purchasing leads from Real Estate Pal for 2 years and have been very happy with the results.

The above comments make it very clear to me that the writer of this complaint jumped into this area of lead generation without fully understanding how it works.  First - there is always a percentage of people that will register with fake informtion. That is true of any kind of web lead generation system.  Second - If you are diligent in your follow up there is always a percentage of leads that will convert but many take time so giving up after a month or two is a waste of your investment.

Real Estate Pal accounts for 60 percent of my business and while there are always a few people who register with false info there are always leads that convert to sales.

I have been using web leads as the main source of my business for 6 years and have tried several different companies.  While every company I have used have provided leads that have converted to sales, I have found that real estate pal provideds a higher percentage of convertable leads and their client service surpasses any other web lead company I have worked with.

So if you aren't happy with the leads you received - send them to me!  I'll be happy to follow up with them since I sincerly doubt that there isn't at lease a couple that could be converted.

Satisfied Customer

AUTHOR: Murray - (United States of America)

I have been working with Real Estate Pal for over 2 years.  They are my most profitable source of leads.  It is too bad that this client decided after one month to try to air his comments instead of looking at the big picture.  I didn't close any clients my first month (how could I?  I needed time to show them houses, get them under contract..and even then it would take another 30 days for the loan to go through).  This is a long term play that needs time to cultivate.  Occasionally, I will get a bad name or number...but that is to be expected as some people won't put in their real information on the internet.  But overall, the qualify of leads that I get from Real Estate Pal far exceed the qualify that I get from my other lead sources.

Also, I'll have some months where I close 8-10 deals that were generated from Real Estate Pal leads...and other months I'll  only close 1-2.  That is par for the course, and also..that is sales!  There are no short cuts...if you work hard, you'll be successful.  If you try something for one month then blame everybody else for your failures, you won't.

I started slow, and gradually increased the amount that I spend with Real Estate Pal at a level that I am comfortable with.  I didn't expect a miracle to happen overnight..I took the time to grow the business with them.

Also, whenever I have a question or concern about the system, they follow up with me right away.

So while this particular client may have had a bad experience, if you are a potential client of Real Estate Pal, please don't take his comments to heart.  They are a great company to work with, and if you put in the time to work the leads, you will be successful.  Leads are only as good as the person who is working them.

You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig

AUTHOR: alberto - (United States of America)

Nice try on your explanation of your "Guaranteed Leads" but what you don't explain is that the leads your company provides are all FAKE!  Every lead you'll get is from another country with totally fake contact info or missing the information necessary to qualify as an actual lead but if you enjoy spending your money on this type of lead generating system then this is your company.  To anyone that is considering using these people just go ahead and save yourself the time and hassle and throw your money in the garbage because that's all that you'll be doing with this company.  You've been warned!

Completely False

AUTHOR: Real Estate Pal - (Canada)

To all who may read this false report filed by Alberto:

We at Real Estate Pal strive for the greatest customer customer experience possible and firmly believe that we provide that. It is very important to us that respond to any comments (positive or negative). We have been in business for over 10 years and have over 600 clients across North America. Our lead generation service is month to month with no contracts or commitments at all. This says a lot if you are a Realtor and are aware of the normal 6 - 12 month contracts that 99% of lead generation companies impose. Our leads are 100% exclusive and 100% real time and we customize our system based on each clients unique needs.

Alberto paid for one month of service. This month of service had a minimum guarantee of 30 leads per month. In his month we sent Alberto 40 leads which is 10 more than he was guaranteed to receive.

When Alberto asked to cancel his service we obliged with no questions, as promised. After his month had ended and his cancellation had been processed he began to email us requesting a refund. As we had already expended more than three times what he paid us, and as we had already delivered his entire month of leads (including many more than were guaranteed to him) this was absolutely impossible. We have notes in his file (made by him) that prove he contacted several of his leads. He also agreed to our terms of service which are very clear. We will be happy to show this proof to any one who would like to see.

Unfortunately there will always be some bad apples in the bunch - people who like to take, take, take and then try and get something for nothing. It's unfortunate that Alberto tried to steal from our company (and post completely false information about us) but we take the bad with the good and we move on. Speaking of the good - we have an abundance of clients who would be willing to share their experiences with our company and our leads. If you would like references we are happy to provide as many as you would like. Please call 1-877-872-6042 ext. 703 and we will be pleased to help.
