My nightmare began when I was searching for information on a person and had been to many different websites that found basic information and for a fee they would give me more information on that person.
Well because I was looking for something specific and this company claimed to have it I purchased a "membership" through them. That membership bought me 25 points and each time I did a search it would deduct a certain amount of points depending on what type of search I did.
So I started my search and it turned up no results, not even the basic results that the other companies had for free. So I emailed them asking them if that was something that they could find or not and I explained that if not then I wanted a refund because their website said it was.
They sent me back an email saying that if I would tell them what I was looking for on who then they could do an advacne search. I agreed and sent them the information I had and again told the that if they couldn't find it that I wanted a refund and again explained why.
They sent me back an email telling me that their search turned up no results. Still not even the basic information that the other sites had for free.
So I then sent them another email asking for a refund and why because at this point they still have not refunded me.
They sent me an email asking me this ....May we know the reason for your wish to cancel and to get a refund of your membership? If you want to You can send us the information you are searching for. I sent them back an email telling them that they have already done that and couldn't find anything. All I wanted was a refund. Nothing else.
So then they sent me another email saying this.... We can discuss this matter with our CEO, and we can upgrade your account to the 5 Year membership plan. We can also add an additional 25 premium search credits to your account.
So then I sent them an email saying this ....Please stop suggesting new things to me, I don't want to be a member for another minute why would I want you to upgrade my membership to 5 more years. And your credits are worthless as I stated before, your company can't even find information that is found in the whitepages. Just refund my money! That is all I want, I do not want to be a part of your membership as I am NOT SATISFIED!!!!!
They sent me an email that said this....Dear Client ,
May we know the reason for your wish to cancel and to get a refund of your membership? If you want to You can send us the information you are searching for. Our team will do an advanced record search and get back to you with professional results. Please feel free to let us know if you have any question or comments.
So I sent them an email demanding for my money back and threatning them with a lawsuit if they didn't comply.
So they sent me this email .... By canceling our service and refunding your payment, you understand you will no longer be given access to your members account with new upgrades just around the corner.
At this time we would like to encourage you to re-consider canceling your membership as new upgrades will be coming soon. As a member, you'll receive ongoing Lifetime upgrades, including new databases, added records & new features.
If you would like to remain a members and take advantage of new databases, added records, new features, please kindly reply to this email "I would like to stay a member". Please feel free to let us know if you have any question or comments.
Okay so now I am so mad. I sent them an email cursing at them telling them if they sent me another email saying anything other than that they have refunded me money I would be serving them with papers on Monday.
Because I paid through a third party I contacted them also at this time and explained everything that was going on. They opened a dispute case on the transaction and said they would email me their results when they decided.
So then today I received an email from the third party telling me that they have refunded my money.
I also recieved an email from the records area from my last email to them the day before saying this ......Thanks much for contacting the Support Desk.

I sent them an email telling them what I thought about their company and that I would be reporting them to as many important people and places that I could think of. I also told them that I had contacted the third party and that they had refunded me my money.
Please keep in mind that each email takes 24-48 hours for them to respond to. So this has been goping on for 8 days. They have a money back guarentee so I do not understand all this.
