At RFW we toured the showroom looking for a spa, salesperson was constantly directing us to the higher priced spas, I had my checkbook in my shirt pocket. We picked a moderately priced spa against his desires. We went to teh loading dock for loading onot our vehicle. we waited forever! Others who came in later but purchased higher priced spas were loaded first.
In each case the workers pur protective foam and cardboard boxes in teh vehicles to protect the finishes. When we protested (afer 2 hours) the warehouse manager came out using his Jamacian accent and told us he was doing teh best he could that our spa was behind many other spas and he had to move several to get to ours. When he went back behind the wall we could hear him laughing at us and his Jamacain accent disappeared and changed in Mort Birminhaam Jive talk.
We went back inside to the General Manager to complain, he came to the warehosue and eventually they brought our spa out. The literally threw it onto my new F150 scratching the paint in two places three feet long. They at first refused to tie it down although we had seen them secure other spas for a 5 mile trek, we had a 65 mile drive ont eh interstate back to Tuscaloosa. Tie down became our responsibility.
The general manager refused to intervene again our even talk to us again, saying I had "insulted his eployees". At that point I just wanted to be finished with RFW. When we did get home with our spa we found that we had no supplies, no booklets, no warranty card, and the top to teh filter had blown away. Phone calls referred me to the "manufacturer". Phone calls to manufacturer referred me back to the "dealer".
Since Leisure Bay and RFW are the same, what is the difference. I was jerked around and abused. I would recommend that everyone keep at least a mile distance from RFW in Birmingham/Homewood AL.
