It appears that if you make an enemy with any of the moderators, they can start designating your posts as "spam" for reasons not shown in their rules.

Some of the reasons I have been given for why a post is considered "spam".

1. 10% or more posts were from the same domain.

Doesn't matter. if any domain is above 10%, you're considered a spammer on Reddit.

newsvine.com 205 30.73%

(Using this logic, everyone would be considered a spammer when first starting out. Submit one link and you've submitted 100% of your links from that domain.)

2. You can't post anything from Stumbleupon.com. I mixed this in to prevent having more than 10% from any domain after being told of the UNDOCUMENTED 10% rule.

Using stumbleupon to mask a newsvine submission (or any domain) is considered spam, too.

It seems like you've been submitting a lot of links from one domain and users have been reporting it as spam. Please be sure to read up on the reddiquette and what constitutes spam to make sure that you understand the rules about posting.

This apparently, from what I can see, was where I was being reported as a spammer because I pissed off a person or persons. My guess is this happened after I made some pro-gun control posts. So much for freedom of speech.

Here are their rules. As you can see, I haven't broken any.

(I downloaded and saved copies in the event they change the wording after I expose their practices.)

It appears they would rather ban a person than explain to a person what they are doing wrong. I had been a member for over a year, had 7,179 link karma, and 274 comment karma.

Hey its thier sandbox. If they choose to keep you out of it, there isnt much you can do. Oh sure you can make a ton of posts telling everyone how unfair it is and how they are evil ppl. But in the end, it falls on your online behavour. If you did something to piss someone off, then these are the repercussions of doing so. I would suggest you move on and find your self another site that gives you news and allows you to post.
