On Thursday June 19th we went to regency furniture to purchase furniture for our new home. Our sales person Clarita helped us pick out our furniture. We purchased a king size bedroom set, dining room furniture, and mattresses totaling over $4000 which we opened a Wells fargo account to finance. I had to pay cash for the MD tax and for the $298 delivery fee. Our sales person informed us that we would have our order within 2 to 4 weeks. We then went back on Saturday June 20th and purchased a bedroom set for our son, couch and loveseat from the same sales person who again assured us that we would have our items in a couple weeks. We moved into our home that Saturday the 20th and since we were under the impression that we would have our furniture soon we were sleeping on air mattresses. We were contacted by the company that our furniture would be in by July 4th and we could then set up a time for delivery once the furniture arrived. No one called us and we waited until monday since the 4th was a holiday and still no call. So we called and were told that the furniture would be in on the 21st of July.

Also at this time we were getting ready for our wedding and were expecting my mother in law to come stay with us for 2 weeks so we were ok with the 21st because the furniture would be there in time for her to have the air mattress we were using. Again the 21st came and no one called so we then called and was given another date of the 31st of July.

Again no call that the furniture came in so we called for a 3rd time and they gave us a date of August 11th and we set up a date of delivery for the 12th of August hoping that things would be in because by this time it had almost been 2 months we had been waiting. We called on Monday the 11th to see if our stuff had arrived everything came except for our mattresses. They had told us that the mattresses were supposed to come in on a delivery Saturday the 9th, but they did not come in and by monday they still had not arrived. They told us that the person who they get that mattress from they could not get a hold of and he was not returning their calls. They said that they would go ahead and deliver what they had and bring the mattresses later. So we really wanted those mattresses so we decided to wait one more week. Well they never came in so I had to go into the store to get my money refunded. I asked that they refund the exact amount that I paid for the mattresses to my wells fargo account and to give me a cash refund for the $164 I paid cash for the MD tax and part of the delivery that I had paid for by check and they had already cashed. The manager gave me the run around but finally agreed to refund my money. He told me that it would take 2 weeks for me to receive my refund and that they would credit my Wells Fargo account. Well today is Sept. 15th they have not refunded my Wells Fargo account or sent them anything updating the refunded amount and I have not received my cash refund. I was told that it takes 21 days for a refund but whenever I call to talk to the only person who handles refunds he is never in or they tell me he will be in after 12 I call back after 12 and get he won't be in til after 4 I leave messages he never calls me back. I had to go elsewhere and purchase mattresses for our King bed and our son's full bed so I had to pay tax and delivery fees on that so I need the money refunded to me. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and on my next day off which is Thursday, the day they claim that my refund check will be in, I will be headed down to the court house to file a complaint with them.

Customer misstated a few facts about our refund policy. It typically takes 21 business days for a customer to receive their refund check, not two weeks. This excludes weekends and any major holidays. However, as soon as we receive the refund check we immediately contact the customer and inform them that it's in. If the customer can provide more information, such as full name or telephone number we can pull more information about this particular case and provide more detailed information.
