On the 30th of October, My husband and I purchase $4,300.00 dollars in furniture from Regency. We made to seperate tickets, becuase thinksgiving is coming up and we needed a table. We also informed the sales respresentive that we don't have a bed and we didn't want to wait 3 weeks. Our sales representative at Largo, is Tony, he told us sometimes furniture comes in from the warehouse faster so we made the purchase. We recieved our table set on the 15th of Nov. Last week I called and talk to the Manager and our bed room set was never ordered, the purchase price was $2,567.00, we put down $1,000.00.

The manager told us we had to put down half in order for our furniture to be ordered, we was made because that should have explained this to us the day of the purchase. The manager said he would go ahead and place the order becuase it wasn't our fault. I call on the 16th of Nov and our furniture is still not ordered, they said we have to come in and put down half, I even talk to the manager again. I asked for a refund and the manager said it takes a month in order for us to get a refund. I have talk to the Manager at the Largo office, The Assistant Manager and the Manager at the Brandywine office and still no results. I will never purchase furniture from this store again.

We'd like to apologize for any misunderstanding about the time it takes for the furniture to come in. Our policy states that furniture is ordered when half is put down that very night (our computers automatically process the orders at midnight) and the orders typically take 2-6 weeks to come (unless the merchandise is on backorder).

As for the refund, the refund requests typically take 21 business days to come in, which totals to approximately a month. Again, we'd like to apologize for any misinformation a sales associate may have given the customer at the time of the purchase.

The next time request a order form with a possible delivery date. In the furniture bussiness no company orders furnitre that doesn't have at least a 50% deposit.
Three weeks isn't as long as you think, considering that your not buying a hotdog at checkers.

At the time of the sale made Mrs. Terry did not put down at least half of the owed amount for the bedroom set that she ordered. As a Regency Furniture policy, no merchandise will be ordered untill at least half of the required amount is payed, which is why the merchandise was never ordered. However when the customer did pay the amount due, the furniture was ordered and did come in within the specified time frame of 2-6 weeks. Once the merchandise comes in, Regency Furniture delivers the furniture as soon as possible, and in this case we did just that. We do apologize for any misunderstandings that the customer may have had with our management.
