Wow- what a wonderful course. I have never been so angry. THIS>>> http://www.rehablist.com/special/wholesalinghousesforaliving.htm Is the program we were sold. Thank GOD we did not pay thousands like other unfortunates.

Among other things, our money purchased "full length DVD's of the entire event including questions and answers from a truly educated audience."

Yeah the audience is truly educated. They are intelligent people who ask pointed questions that this snake dodges at every given opportunity. Here's one exchange from DVD 2:
A polished woman in her late 50's or so: "What percentage of your business do you normally spend on advertising?"
Mike: "Mine's all advertising driven. I don't do anything else." (UH... what?) "Everything I do is advertising driven."
Intelligent polished woman(trying to think of a way to rephrase her simple pointed question): "No, I meant your percentage of what your, your expenses are. Your ROI- what percentage would you say is..."
Mike: "I do it per deal (pause) and I think that's one of the things I'm going to keep secret."

Wow- how informative. You know, it's weird- I would think that if you're making MONEY off of educating people, maybe you could... you know... educate them?

That's not enough? How about the following exchange:
Man: "You talked about vacant homes as being one of the best ways to find deals for wholesaling. I know one of the ways you contact the owners is through the property tax records, but what are some of the more effective ways of getting them to respond... or other ways if that doesn't work?"

(If you can't understand Mike's answer below, trust me- it's NOT because you're uneducated or unintelligent... and no- hearing it in context doesn't help)

Mike: "That's a tough one (pause) that's a good question (and one he won't answer because he has thousands of people who pay him to find leads through his "program" that is mentioned plenty in other rip-off-reports, but he won't just come out and say that to these bright-eyed optimistic wanna-be investors) Again, it goes back to that reverse-sales thing I say (everyone is thinking- what reverse sales thing is this man talking about) it's uh, reverse sales in some way. Uh, you have to use all your powers of persuasion, especially finding them and influencing them to do something with you. (Seems easy enough!) And more than that if you get good at the intake portion of what we do, you're talking about (pause) uh (pause) uh (pause) You're assessing their needs and when I get to the people part of this (which he never gets to) you'll, you'll understand. This is really not about what you want, honestly, its about what they need, ok, (at this point, Microsoft Word is literally trying to take its own life, because it can't handle this many run ons) what your sellers need, what their needs are, and if you're good in an honest, empathetic, empathetic? 'empathic' way (ohh- way to use the little known word- step it up little, you know?) to find out what they truly need and give that to them, then you're gonna be successful. (OK, so he said I find out what they need and give it to them... this is powerful stuff my friends) If they BELIEVE that's the case. (wait, what?)If they believe that you're trying to make a buck. Which is why I'm successful with some of these guys who come in and tear down the house and tear down the situation and stuff (I hate it when guys come in and tear down my situations! It's like totally my pet peeve! Oh- and let's not forget the stuff! Freakin' stuff- always messin' with my things) . They just throw them out of the house, or they hang up the phone long distance, or they don't answer the faxes with the contracts or whatever. So, I say that, and we'll get more into the people part of it later (again- he never gets there) but I've kinda come to believe that you end up being like a lay therapist with folks (a what?). You end up being like the sister they never had, the brother, you have to solve their problems..."

It goes on and on, but I don't want anyone to pluck out their eyeballs, so I'll stop. Trust me- it doesn't get any better.

Wow, so what we got there was: 1.) Find people... aha! the secret is out! and 2.) Persuade them... really? well that most certainly seems easy enough! Thank you Mike! You've saved the day! 3.) give them what they... wait.... need? Whoa- that guy is trippin'! I sure am glad I got my hands on this course before my competition did!

So after you sit through an ENTIRE DVD of just overview (Are you understanding me? One of Four DVD's has absolutely no information but only promises of what his course will cover later) you have to endure his drivel for another three. The stories don't have endings (and quite frankly, don't apply) and the content... well, you'll see...

Once we got to content- oh my- my brain was bulging with all its new knowledge! I liked point #2- to make a living Wholesaling you must have... drum roll please.... "stick-to-it-ive-ness!!!" Yes! Yes! It's true! Imma email alsa my friends anda tell 'em. I gots da secret to da MONEY!

Dang- it's a good thing he copy-writed this stuff- I mean- those are trade secrets right there! Oh and the Cd's that are listed above, yeah they're no new info- just the audio of the DVD's you'll pay money to suffer through.

Also, you will get forms and contracts that only pertain to Florida real estate. That's right- screw you other 49 states- these forms are WORTHLESS to you!

I am grateful to God, for saving us from spending more with these folks. We almost went with their "mentoring" program, and luckily the salesman did not call us back to follow up. We would have lost $1,500 to these people- or like the other posts have stated- more!

I hope this post saves someone else from taking this course. If you are interested in a great wholesale guru- go check out Preston Ely. He gives away more information for free than we paid this guy for. Now, for some reason Preston has befriended Mike Collins and tends to endorse him (so you know I'm not someone from Ely's camp writing this) - if you can overlook their friendship and endorsement of each other; you'll find a smart guy who gives out bulleted information at a very fair price. He's helped us immensely.

We've been trying to start up this real estate business for almost a year and I am just so sick of being on constant vigilance for scams. It gets really old. I am willing to pay people good money for real information, but I sure don't like being scammed. Especially when my future is on the line.
