Don't hire this man! I hired him to repair and refinish my floors and it was one thing after another: incomplete and sloppy estimates will all sorts of extra costs added to bills; job took three times as long as estimated; things done wrong had to be redone -- repeatedly! Rooms improperly sealed so dust everywhere and bottom of walls all torn up.

I am a flooring rep in the Los Angeles area and have sold material to Reinhardt Peters Flooring since the late 80s. I know he services his customers with integrity and provides excellent follow up service for all his jobs. Knowing this, I can not believe this complaint is valid or he would have seen to it that there really is no need for this complaint.

In response to Report: #622544 on Reinhardt Peters Hardwood Floors of 8201 Sepulveda Place Van Nuys, CA 91402
First, we are not aware of any complaint in one of the jobs that we did in 2010. We have every desire to address the needs of our customers and provide the best solution available to resolve every issue as soon as possible to prevent such problem from occurring in the future, no matter how big or small it is. We believe that with any business like ours, the greatest advertising we can have is word of mouth from a satisfied customer.
In regard to estimate we provide to our clients: We always tell them to take their time to review all the details written on it. If there's any concern, clarification or they have any question, they can always call our office and call our attention. We can always come up with a revised estimate for their review and acceptance. We only proceed with the job if they agree to the estimate contract we provided. It is only customary that no other work will be performed if it is not specified in the estimate contract.
Secondly, we reviewed our files and went through our records and didnt see a job that we did in Encino, CA from the period January-July of 2010. We are now wondering where this rip-off report came from. Oh well, Ripoff Report does not guarantee that all reports are authentic or accurate.
Lastly, Reinhardt Peters Hardwood Floors is a licensed contractor for over 25 years bonded with American Contractors Indemnity Company and has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. A company like ours will not be in business for this many years if we Rip-Off customers. Its our goal to retain each of our customers satisfied to serve them again in the future. At Reinhardt Peters Hardwood Floors, we deliver expert service utilizing the most advanced methods available - Quality Hardwood Floors from A-Z, commercial and residential.
