Remedy Law Center Beware, this company is a rip-off scam!! Newport, Beach, California

On July 31 of this year I paid Remedy Law Center to help me get a loan modification on my mortgage.  They had contacted me through my bank using the US Postal service.  I was assured that they would be able to lower my mortgage payments.  More than 3 months later, I was contacted by phone and email that I did not qualify for the modification because of an exception that was made with my original loan.  I requested a refund after receiving a letter stating that I only had 24 hours to respond, or I would no longer be represented by them.  I have not received my money back and I have not heard anything from them as of today.  I will be contacting them again after Thanksgiving to request my refund.  I intend to fight them with every option open to me.
