I was Buying Two Tv,VCR, DVD combos. And A Computer And A Printer.
In the Two tvs the DVD player part will not work in it. the Computer went out when i had for few months. No one needs Buy nothin from Rent a Center.
I Had to Buy a Anther Tv from a Pawn shop. if buy smothin from rent a center it will be used.

We do not lead everyone to believe all the product is new or nearly new. We have a terming matrix so we are not putting it on new terms. All computers are totally system restored to get rid of files and viruses. 88% of our merchandise is not used. I have over 40% new product in my store at all times.

they'll fix it Colorado as that's where I had accounts with them. But your OP just said the stuff was broken not that you had asked RAC to fix it.

RentaCenter is misleading / FRAUD????

RentaCenter leads consumers to believe that the items rented out are all new or almost new. In this case, the TVs and computer are the Question????
If they were honest, they would tell you the number of times each individual item has been out on rent. Approximately 88 % of all their product is USED....TVs that have been transported and rented on average 10-11 times....and Computers going out even more On average 14-16 times to other customers.
Who in their right mind would want a computer after it had been in the hands of !6 different customers with all of the data, virus, parasites, and abuse of being banged around by RAC employees suring transit ,is beyond me? OH---thats right----the consumer doesnt know !!!!!
TVs are the same......THEY dont know... and RentaCenter wont tell them!!!!!!!!!!
The objective of RAC staff is to rent junk as many times as possible at a price equal to NEW each and every week until the last customer somehow buys it.
I worked for RentaCenter for over 8 years in multiple states and can ABSOLUTELY attest to THIS.
They can change the name to Rent some JUNK, INC and at least be honest.
Good business does not hide facts, details and information about product to the consumer and I believe this should be part of their disclosure....OF COURSE>>>NOBODY WOULD RENT?BUY THAT JUNK THEN.
Note I am an ex-employee as of 2007...and glad to be working with some personal integrity again with the general public.

didn't you have RAC fix the items? I've purchased from them in the past and if something broke before it was paid for, RAC fixed it for me.
