I went back to see what they would do for me, since i had been a loyal customer for 6-7 years. Spent a lot more money on thing than they were worth. They told me i was basicly ass out, and have a nice day.
Im not the only person who had a item like yv sterio pc crap out with in a month of the last payment. I was under the impresson i was paying for insurance the whole time. like 2 years extended. Got told that was for while i was paying for it.
Thats crap, as long as i was paying they had to cover it.
But i know im not the only one whos been assended by rentway in this manner.

In addition, I caught VD from my blow up doll. And my wife is really pissed about that. She thinks I got it from our next door neighbor, but he's clean.
I'll never rent from RAC again.

That should have covered your TV.
I have worked in the R.T.O buisness as well as have been a customer. The only people that I have seen mostly that are mad by the phone calls are the people who always pay late. People if you see (in the world of caller id) that someone has called regardless if you have the money at the time call them back and just say i dont have it. Folks it's that simple. Discuss some payment arrangements be sincere on when you can realistically pay and the phone calls go away. I mean this is a buisness. If you have a car payment and are habitually late you lose your car. If times really have you down and money just won't stretch that far I know its a last result but just return it untill times are better. The company you are dealing with wants you to be a customer as much as you want to keep the item you are renting but in life somtimes its just beyond our control.
I know not all the stores that you do buisness with are the same. But in my instance the staff I dealt with were sincere in wanting to retain my buisness. Over time I built a rapore with my local establishment and is how I eventually became an employee. I have since left this industry as a better opportunity with more financial opportunities came my way but I was happily employed for over 5 years. I would honestly tell you that about 98% of our customers were good hard working folks.
