The '5 year platinum warranty' wasn't honored by RepairTech when we had a problem with the camera. They said we have the wrong digital camera warranty and refused to do anything saying we need to get the right warranty from the distributor. We called back the distributor and they also avoid and postpone any response.
Please don't ever buy a camera/electronics from one of these fly-by-night outfits it totally isn't worth it.
