With support from their corporate office, this company openly violates their own company policies, as well as the civil rights of its employees. With the exception of one manager (who recently quit) & a newly hired supervisor, the entire management team is corrupt. Examples include, but not limited to:
Non-ethnic managers are given prior notice of "random" drug tests. With the exception of a few, most past & present managers have prior drug & alcohol related offenses. One of them even referred/hired his drug dealer; others hired employees with obvious signs of drug/alcohol abuse - all exhibited workplace hostility toward coworkers, while under the influence. No disciplinary action given.
Non-ethnic managers/supervisors are hired/promoted as such, while ethnic managers/supervisors are required to "earn" their position; usually receive lower pay, subject to higher scrutiny & productivity standards; always subordinate to non-ethnic managers, regardless of seniority or skill. (One non-ethnic manager was promoted to his position, after being caught sleeping on the job, with a company vehicle at his home!) With the exception of two office positions, all other authoritative positions or promotional opportunities are offered mostly to younger, non-ethnic males, regardless of seniority or skill.
Ethnic & older workers (regardless of gender) are targets for disciniplary actions, terminations & blame for managerial indiscretions. Younger workers more likey to be hired full-time than older workers. Males more likely to be offered overtime - even with questionable work ethic & attendance.
With exception of one manager & supervisor, all other managers retaliate against, slander &/or terminate workers who assert legitimate complaints - especially if worker is older, ethnic &/or female. Females who assert themselves when wronged are considered "troublesome" or "verbally abrasive," especially if they are older &/or ethnic. A non-ethnic male assaulted an ethnic female coworker, yet allowed to keep his job. Non-ethnic managers lied to their superiors & dismissed incident as a "joke." General manager retaliated against worker, with threats of termination, for filing a legitimate complaint to her superiors.
Another ethnic female worker was threatened with bodily harm & racial slurs, by non-ethnic friends of non-ethnic managers. Worker was given several disciplinary actions for being "offensive"; no action was taken for their friends' hate crime. Same worker was continually being observerd to "ensure that she was always working" - stalked. While worker was injured on the job, she was ordered, by the non-ethnic general manager, to increase her productivity. Also, was forced to work with a known racist. Worker eventually terminated for "attendace issues," though prior authorization was given for flexible family medical leave to care for disabled relatives.
Two non-ethnic males, having questionable attendance, returned to work under the influence. One was offered a promotion to supervisor; the other offered crosstraining. Another non-ethnic male caught sleeping & lying about misappropriating company funds, yet allowed to keep his job. A non-ethnic male was allowed to keep his job even though he continues to embezzle from the company & had several reports of sexual harrassment. Two ethnic employees were terminated for, supposedly, lying.
Two non-ethnic males given authorization to drive company vehicles & equipment ,without a valid drivers license. Equipment damage blamed on female coworker to cover up for males that actually caused the damage. One non-ethnic male nearly got himself, as well as an ethnic female coworker, eletrocuted by willful disregard of instructions or safety rules. Witnessed by a male manager, yet no disciplinary action given.
