This is my letter to the customer service department of the site which has debited my teen-aged, disabled child's bank account without authorization:
To Whom It May Concern:
You have debited the bank account of our child (who has a disability- shame on you!!), as you have many others evidenced by the number of complaints against you, WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION.
This is your written notice to cease and desist all debits and any contact and/or false membership with regard to NAME of CHILD immediately, and RETURN to her account the cash you have stolen immediately, or further legal action will be taken against you. Legal action has already been started against you by this bank.
Respond to this e-mail tomorrow, September 3, 2008.

It was NOT the college financial aid account site-- that is a "One Card" account; the website where it started was the "One Stop." The mistake is mine and I apologize for any misunderstanding.

Here is the e-mail received today from Reservation Rewards, including the site where our daughter was originally piggy-backed to Reservation Rewards, a COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID ACCOUNT !!! This is intolerable. How many of our kids are being duped into thinking this is a school-sanctioned company??
I am going forward with action on this myself, tomorrow morning.

We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.
Our records show that you or someone in your household joined Reservation Rewards through a special rewards program after completing an online transaction with COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID ACCOUNT. After your transaction you were offered and accepted a membership in Reservation Rewards. Immediately next to the offer the Offer Details were displayed which included the agreement that after your trial period ended we could bill the low monthly membership fee of $12.00 to the credit card debit card or PayPal account you used for your transaction with COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID ACCOUNT.
This membership was cancelled effective 9/3/2008 and we have issued three refunds of $12.00 for the membership fees billed. Your refunds will show on your credit card debit card or PayPal account within the next 3-5 business days.
If you require further assistance please contact our Customer Service Department at 800-732-7031. Our Customer Service Representatives are available Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 11:00 pm Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm ET.
