Instantly, that was a red flag. I asked the nice Indian lady to cancel my account and refund my $12. It seemed too easy!
Yet I asked how they got my credit card number, and she explained (as if she had a script) how I went to such and such website last month, bought movie tickets, and entered my credit card information to sign up for Reservation Rewards.
I told her I had never even heard of this company and would never sign up for it. While she was pleasant, I have to say that this is a terrible way to steal people's money. Come on, people!
