Restaurants.com affiliates them selves with some online companies to get their advertisments out there bu7t soon (if you thought you were on a legitimate site such as Groupon, etc. you are not) once redirected there begins the rip off.

I bought an add that simply said $30 for $75 worth of food at Fromin's Deli--a very popular deli in Santa Monica, California and I had been there often...I was soon to have nee for such a coupon so I was delighted. as I continued to make the purchase (by the way I have previously bought many deals from amazon local to Groupon and Living Social and never ever had a problem)

I continued though what seemed to be a maze of terms and conditions and hardly paid attention (remember I was baited an bit) to them since these food coupons had all been straight up in the past...after credit card information was given then here is what appeared in large print

To get your $75 of food you must purchase $150 of food.

This was amazing...the original add could have said $105 for $150 worth of food at Fromin's simple as that and would have been simple and accurate----NO this company pulled one of the oldest deceptions known to mankind---the "bait and switch"

Avoid them at all costs...I plan to pursue this matter to the parties involved in the "Plain English" movement in Washington, DC and hopefully I can take out this company with some help.
