Rhinomart is a RIP-OFF, Buyer Beware with this company! I bought a Plasma TV from them online, Rhinomart has a warehouse in Chino, Ca. when I went to pick the TV up, they said I could not plug it in or test it for DOA, then they said that if it was a working TV I would have to pay a $160 premium over and above the sale price. I refused and canceled the order. A few days later they charged my CC a $160 restocking fee. They sell JUNK at almost retail prices, Beware of this SCAM company.

I was contemplating purchasing from this company and also buying their gold membership, and came here as I often do to obtain any information to make an informed decision. 

As i read through the reports it became clear that this company actively tries to slime anyone who complains about them.

They specifically tried to slime the below business. (i dont know the owner nor have i ever used his service. I live in the Washington DC ares)

This buyer installs plasmas and lcd's represented as new to his customers. But this buyer came to our liquidation warehouse looking for the cheapest item and opted for as is returned unit versus a guaranteed working unit with warranty. There was obviously a price difference between buying as is, and guaranteed working units fully tested in front of the buyer as we do with all buyers. This buyer decided to go the really cheap route and demanded to plug and play to cherry pick our salvaged units as we offered him $300 for a $1500 unit. Then when we declined to allow him to cherry pick us at these prices, he became very angry threatening to post negative reviews. Fact is that at the end of this ordeal with this buyer, we did not even collect 1 penny from him. We do not deserve to be defamed by him as not 1 penny was gained from him.

The only thing about this buyer is that his customers are being overcharged by him and misrepresented as he would source scratch and dent units and salvaged units and pass them off to his unsuspecting clients as new. So you decide who is on the up and up.

rhino mart is great in todays economic chaos

first of all I would like to comment on my purchase of a 42" plasma tv(maxent at rhino mart about 13 months ago. my wife and i walked into a rhino mart that was located in west covina, and had been there several times. we purchased a tv there for 749.00 as stated above. there was no sale tax at the time was any purchased tv over 500.00 no sales tax would be added to purchase. At the same time best buy was selling the same product for 1499.00 plus tax and the only differance was that at best buy it came in a box. They turned the tv on for us in the store and it worked fine- we had only to purchase a universal remote which was 19.00 at best buy. This plasma tv works perfect. what you have to understand is that rhino mart is a salvage company selling products that may have a scratch or dent or some cosmetic imperfection. other then that my plasma tv has worked perfectly.- i have purchased many things at rhino mart for prices that could not be matched by anybody- not even internet!!!- if you dont mind a couple of scratches or cosmetic looks- rhino mart is the place to shop. nobody is forcing you to go into that store- and if they have been open this long they must be selling something that works!
