My company and me were ripped off by one of Rich Bernstein's "executive training sessions". What a joke. He is very smooth on phone and in person. I should have known better - he has slick haircut, manicured nails, shiny shoes, an sparkling capped teeth. too many scammers like this in Vegas already.

Please share his tactics and common phrases so others will be warned when he is moving in for their credit card number.

A more current ex-employee was neither a porn star nor an embezzler and has yet to be paid for her last week's pay and commission while working for Rich Bernstein.  Rich bounded her last paycheck leaving her checking account in a huge debit.  Recently found out from insiders he was about to be kicked out of his office for non-payment of rent  for the second time in two months.  He sure found the money to keep his precious office.  To bad he doesn't think that highly of his employees. The employees that have witnessed the wrong doing behind the scenes.

I worked for Rich Bernstein and his wife Valerie Carpenter Bernstein in their boiler room. They expected you to lie and cheat for them and then paid you with a bad check. Several employees took them to the labor board. If anyone did anything about them you had to deal with Valerie. She came after your kids, you, your wife everybody just to get even.They were driving around in a Bentley and bouncing hundred dollar checks to employees working for minimum wage just to feed their families.  I believe in Karma and it looks like they finally got what was coming to them.  To bad it took so long to pop Rich, a lot of casualties along the way could have been prevented.

Ex Felon Richard Bernstein can now add another felony conviction to his resume.

This information is supposed to be disclosed in the Mars Venus Franchise Disclosure Document but it appears Mars Venus has not filed a current disclosure document in years. If it wasn't for the internet rest assured Bernstein and this malicious pack of thieves would have stolen much more.

As an ex-Mars Venus Franchisee, I can assure you that this company is a SCAM! They start off with forcing you to give them $20,000 to $40,000 US for training and a b/s Franchise that isn't actually legal anywhere except in Nevada. Then they give you high financial income expectations, which do not happen!!! In my own case, they stole $20,000 from me, without giving me any Franchise documentation at all. Then they demanded that I pay $1000.00 per month for Franchise Fee's...for a Business I did not even own!! These people are very good with the SPIN selling techniques, and can spin any story and create lies upon lies, just to take your money. I know, it happened to me. Don't be the next victim of this company!!

Another lawsuit has been filed against this con artist in May 2009 by Actioncoach. Although John Gray has him selling franchises to train people on business coaching and parenting classes this dude has tons of lawsuits filed against him one pending for fraud. Our tax dollars are being used to chase down child support from this deadbeat dad who has liens filed against not only by child services but the Nevada District Attorney. I guess John Gray thinks this is the perfect person to conduct training in family values. What a joke. Who in their right mind would buy one of these franchises or use a coach trained by someone with this background. Just another company Bernstein will run into the ground after taking a bunch of innocent victims to the cleaners.

Rich Bernstein's company National Distributing Group AKA Bernstein Brothers AKA 21st Century Sales have numerous judgments filed against them. Just search the Los Angeles court system. After skipping town the Bernstein's quickly were sued numerous times in Las Vegas for slander, false allegations, and just for ripping off any one they could. Valerie Bernstein has spent the last 10 years attacking a former employee for giving birth to three children fathered by her husband while they were married and blaming her for all the lawsuits, judgments and tax liens filed against them. These are not the only children this guy has fathered during the marriage and refuses to pay for. This woman has nothing to do with all of us that have been burned by them. Everyone that worked for Rich knew he was convicted for not paying child support. I am an ex-employee of National Distributing and it was a positive and financial
success for me, personally.

I didn't work for the the side-company stated by the woman from Indiana.That was actually owned by a gentleman named Robert Matt.

The woman I believe to be writing the above threads is Ruth Collins. She worked for Mr. Matt. Prior to that she was a porn actress. You can google Ruth Corrine Collins (IMDB) as a reference, but adults only please.

The Indiana woman is probably Ruth Collins. She was one of the sales people who worked for National and Chroma. I don't know what happened
to Ruth but I do know she has several illegitimate children by different fathers and has never married. The original octomom? Forgive my humor. But it does appear she loves the attention.

Just basic speculation, she uses child support as a way to make a living, like many of the women (I've dated some) in Los Angeles. Thus the child support reference. I guess after she got too old for the adult films, she found another way to make money. Never graduated H.S so you've got to give the girl credit, she is a scrapper.

Rumor has it she was involved in some type of blackmail or extortion of National after she left and was sentenced to a year in jail. In Burbank, I believe.I'm sure it would provide interesting reading if you look it up.

I heard Collins was recently involved in another extortion scheme after being evicted from several residences, sometimes with a Feliks Parnell. A landlord died and she claims he promised her the house. There is interesting reading on Attorney's Forum if you'd like to google that as well.

Working in the same office for 2 years with Collins was entertaining to say the least. But it was a professional, ethical company, that helped me launch my own business. I am grateful for the opportunity.

These posts are nothing more than drivel, including mine, but I feel for anyone who gets Collin's on their case. She has sued her last 3 landlords after being evicted with Parnell, and I guess she just likes playing Allie MacBeal (more humor).

Collin's is definately scary, and I feel sorry for all her victims, but I will say goodluck to those involved, and don't believe everything you read, just have a good laugh.

I worked for this guy at National Distributing Group and I can tell you he is a tax evader who was also convicted for failing to pay child support to a bunch of kids he left high and dry. You might be able to pull copies of the federal tax or child support liens filed in LA County and Las Vegas to obtain his SS number. Good luck
