Beware when bidding on any item at Ritchie Brother's Auction. They advertise some items as non functional, which makes one assume that items not marked would be checked out and in good working condition. I bought a tractor, two lawn mowers, two chain saws, and a miter saw. I looked the items over the best that I could before bidding. When I got the items home here is what I found: The tractor, the four wheel drive will not work. One of the lawn mowers has the gear box out, the second mower will not run. Neither of the two chains saws will start. The miter saw was reconditioned and appears to have been a good buy.
I know they advertise as is, but with some items marked and others not makes on assume the unmarked are ok.
I don't intend to ever buy anything from them again.
