If you ever consider working with or working for this company, please take my advise and run as fast as you can. I have not met one single person from this company in a management/ownership role that actually cared about the consumer or their employees. The only thing they care about is lining their pocket book.
They got into this business during the Sub Prime days. And boy did they ever take advantage of that. They have always had a reputation of being the mortgage company to work for if you are "New" in the business. Walk through one of their offices and you will notice what I am talking about. It has the used car sales person atmosphere. Fast talking, slick back hair, cheap suits, sitting around the coffee machine talking about how hard they just screwed their last customer.
Companies like this one are the reason we are in a financial mess. It is a perfect episode of "American Greed".

Hello, I am the broker/owner of River City Mortgage in California. We are in no way, shape or form affiliated with this company. We are not a direct lender. We get calls for this company all the time. We just filed for the dba last year and did not realize how much bad press was out about this company. I do not know the owner or employees. River City Mortgage & Financial has been in business since 1994, ten years before sub-prime mortgages reared its ugly head. If fact, even when sub-prime mortgage caused the mortgage industry to collapse in the 2005, sub-prime mortgages were a very small portion River City's overalll business. The owners of River City have over 100 year of combined service in the mortgage industry. River City has originated over $5 billion dollars in loans over the last seventeen years has has a 96% approval rating from its customers based on customer surveys. River City Mortgage enjoys an outstanding reputation with the communities it serves and the regulatory agencies it reports to, as well as an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. The employees of River City take a great deal of pride providing mortgage to its communities and these type of ANONYMOUS smears deserve to be addressed with the facts. I have no hair and spend about $450 on my suits. I doubt "God" is blessing this type cheap, dishonest commentary. Louis Olsen, President, River City Mortgage & Financial.
