Robert Cullen is an Aircraft Salesman who will tell you any lie to sell you an airplane.

You can see my case at the Riverside Superior Court (California) website, Civil, Case No. RIC 349949.

Robert Cullen tried to kill my wife and I by lying to us about a Cessna 411 I was buying as a Deputy Chief for a Fire District in California.

He lied to us about the airworthiness of the Airplane saying it was in good shape.  In truth it had a major fuel system defect.  See FAA accident report, August 26, 2000, Boise Idaho, N411TK, Pilot James S. Davis

The engines failed the plane crashed and my wife and I were seriously injured.  We had shull fractures, back fracutues, she lost her right eye and I am crippled.

We won $10,000,000.00 in a Fraud based Judgment against him and his company but  he had no insurance and is hiding his assets using false names.

He has been sued and lost many times for lying to buyer about airplanes.

Is is now the Salesman for Chino Aircraft Sales, at Chino Airport.  By dealing with him you are puting your life at risk.

Corona Aircraft sales

 I have been doing business with Bob at Corona Aircraft sales for years. I purchased my first aircraft from him 15 years ago and was treated with kindness, honesty, and respect. I recently purchased my third aircraft from Bob Cullin, a 1967 Beechcraft Sport and again was treated in the same curteous fashion. The airplane had a few minor issues that popped up after the sale. Rather than leaving me to fix things on my own Bob had all the items fixed which included replacing a couple used items with new parts. Even though he did not have to Bob did this at his own expense and in a very timely matter. I am very pleased with my purchase and the service I have recieved and would not hesitate to refer friends and fellow pilots to do business with Corona Aircraft sales.

Rebuttal to Cullen's False Statements

In his rebuttal Thief/Liar Cullen made several misrepresentations.  Let's review them one by one.

First, by Express Written Agreement I took possession of N411TK for BFPD Inc. on Aug. 24, 2000.  (See Riverside Superior Court Case No. RIC 349949 or email me for a copy of the Purchase Agreement.)  I had already given Cullen $20,000.00 cash and a check GOOD for $75,000.00 upon taking possession. He had given me the plane key on 8/24/00. The crash happened two days later. A stop payment was put on the check by my Law Office Staff after the crash.

Cullen and I never took N411TK on a flight together.  He tried to get me to buy a Cessna 421 Golden Eagle, which I declined.  That part of his rebuttal is a lie.  

Cullen said he was doing an annual inspection, but that must be a lie. He is not a licensed Aircraft and Powerplant mechanic (A&P) so he could not do such an inspection or work on N411TK.

Cullen claims I owed taxes. Any and all taxes I owed were paid by me delivering over $1 million to the U.S. Bankruptcy Trustees in Riverside Bankruptcy Court, case nos. 04 BK 12913, and 03 BK 26369, in 2007 to 2010.  Further the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the case of COMM IRS V. BANKS, handed down a decision proving my firm and I did not owe any such taxes.

Cullen has been sued and lost 24 times for lying to people about airplanes he was selling. (See Riverside Superior Court, Los Angeles Superior Court and San Bernardino Court Records. Run Robert Cullen or Corona Aircraft).

My tax case and a related case are currently up on Appeal on the issue of proof of Actual Innocence, see case nos. USDC CDC 04 CR 0770 and 04 CR 0771.

Had Cullen given Brenda (my wife) the $4 million he owes her and the $6 million he owes me in 2004, we could have given the money to the Tax Attorney we had hired so he could have finished the tax case.   The tax case arose out of the Crash.  Tax returns were not filed and taxes not paid while I was in a coma, in a rehabilitation hospital and trying to deal with over $2 million in uncovered medical bills.  I had to go into inactive status with the State Bar. I have never been "disbarred" by the State Bar.  I am currently in discussions with the State Bar about returing to active status. 

I am taking legal action to make sure no one ever has to live through what almost killed me and destroyed my life.

Cullen, Corona Aircraft, Chino Aircraft Sales

This is the update.  Mr. Cullen has now lied to the Court saying that he does not know where even one of the ten airplanes registered to him and/or his company Corona, but of course he has not reported them stolen as required by law.

I was the pilot of N411TK and I was cleared in the FAA/NTSB investigation of no pilot error, no fuel control problems.  I did state that Cullen had lied to me and I believed him.

I now offer a reward for the location of any aircraft owned by Robert Cullen and/or Corona Aircraft.  In particular we are looking for N8085H and N104DT.  Any information is appreciated.  Thanks

Cullen Purchase Contract, Taxes

Additonally Robert Cullen is a Convicted Felon for failure to pay sales taxes on airplanes to the State of California.   Funny how his rebuttal left that out.



Had Cullen paid the Judgments to my wife and I in 2004, then I could have paid the Federal Taxes and the IRS Case would have never have happened. 



Cullen had signed a written purchase Contract for N411TK, I had given him the purchase check and the written Contract provided for a pre-purchase Test Flight.  It was on that Contract Test Flight that the fuel system failure Cullen lied about resulted in the Crash. 

    

Look to the Court documents on Cullen's Conviction. our lawsuit and our Judgments to see the Truth. 



If any thing Cullen said was true why did he not prove up his defense in our Lawsuits?  The public Court Record is the Truth.  The written Contract I had with him speaks for it's self and his many losses to many customers to different Courts prove his lies.  



Perhaps suing him for liable and slander would be interesting but i have a Six Million dollar judgment against him already so it would be a waste of money. 



By the way if I am such a bad guy then why has the Riverside Court ordered him to turn airplanes over to me to pay off the Judgment?

More Cullen lies

Robert Cullen never stops lying.  I am not on Parole, and the Prosecutor has admitted that I was maliciously prosecuted and am Actually Innocent.  See case no. USDC CDC, 5:10-CV-00918-AHM-AJW.

 As a Class Action Plaintiff Attorney I sued the U.S. Postal Service for not paying overtime to it's employees. The same U.S. Attorney defending that case prosecuted me which is a clear violation of Law.  Cullen lied to the Prosecutors, and that was also an issue in the case.



Run Robert J. Cullen through the the Riverside Superior Court Central District web site and see how many times he has been sued for Fraud.  In the Berger Case (google Paul Berger v. Cullen) and in the Rodake Case (google Rodake v. Cullen) he has had to pay over $200,000.00 to settle the lawsuits against him. 



Our Judgment is based on his Fraud and lying to me about an Airplane I was buying for a Fire Department.  The crash almost killed my wife and I and Cullen legally admitted to that which is how my Wife got the $4,100,000.00 Judgment and I got a $6,025,000.00 Judgment.  In my Judgment he must make full disclosure to any buyer of a Plane but he still does not do that.  See the putative buyer of N8085H, Mr. Koo.  



So read our Lawsuit against Cullen, see the Judgments we got and use that to weigh his lies.

Reply about a Convicted Felon James Davis

The story of James Davis never ends.  In August, 2000, Davis walked into my sales office at Corona, Ca.  He said he was looking for a twin engine airplane to purchase. He said he did not have a twin rating.

In the conversation he mentioned that he was an attorney. I offered to get him a twin rating in my Cessna 310 in
exchange for legal services Davis was a class B student, and got the rating in about eight hours.

My Cessna 310 was an older model, 1956, without auxiliary fuel tanks. At that time I was doing an annual inspection, and installing an interior in a 1966 Twin Cessna 411 for a customer. The airplane belonged to Phil
Oldridge, and was registered to Aircraft Emporium in Las Vegas, NV.

Davis said he wanted to buy this Twin Cessna 411, and gave me a small deposit. I gave Davis a short thirty-minute ride in Phil Oldridges 411 with a couple touch and gos at Chino Airport about seven miles from Corona
Airport.  I did not endorse Davis to fly this 411.  This flight was not a check out.  It was simply a show and tell.

The next Wednesday, August 24, 2000, Davis wrote up a purchase order with several conditions, and said he wanted to take this 411 to Ontario Airport, Ontario, California, about 15 miles from Corona, to do a pre-purchase. He wrote the purchase order on my form with a lot of conditionsI did not sign it.  He later gave me a
check for $75,000 made out to Corona Aircraft Sales. I told Davis that I needed Oldridges approval---I called Oldridge he answered, but said he would have to call back.

I did not talk to Oldridge again that week. When I arrived at work two days later on Sat morning the 411 was gone. I knew Davis had the 411 because his Lincoln was parked by my office.

Phil Oldridge told me earlier that he had no insurance on his 411, and I was the only pilot authorized by him to fly his airplane.

On Monday morning someone from Daviss office called to say Davis had crashed the 411 near Boise, Idaho, on Sat. afternoon.  I deposited the check that Davis gave me the previous Thursday and gave the owner of the 411 my check for $75,000.  Oldridge called me right after he left my office to tell me Daviss check was no good. (NSF) Oldridge requested I go to the Corona Police Department and file a stolen airplane reportwhich I did.
 
I never gave Davis permission to fly this 411.  He was completely unqualified as proven by the kind of accident that he caused.  HE stole this 411, and then he RAN THE AIRPLANE OUT OF GASSEE THE NTSB REPORT ON
HIS ACCIDENTTHE FUEL SELECTORS WERE SELECTED ON THE AUX TANKS.  The Cessna Pilot Manual for this 411 clearly states to take off and land on the main gas tanks. (tip tanks); this airplane does not have boost pumps in the aux tanks.

Point of interest: In 2004 Davis crashed another airplane (Cessna 337-pusher puller twin.) that he was attempting to purchase. This gear up happened at  Hesperia Airport, Hesperia Ca. . This accident does not show on the NTSB reports? Attested to by the airport mgr. at that time.

DAVIS IS A CONVICTED FELON----HE IS ON PAROLE---HE WAS SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS AND SEVEN MONTHS IN FEDERAL PRISON STARTING IN 2005. HE WAS RELEASED FROM FEDERAL PRISON IN THE SPRING OF 2011.  HE WAS CHARGED WITH EIGHTEEN FELONY COUNTS.  HE WAS CONVICTED ON SIX OR SEVEN FELONY COUNTS.

Dais sued the owner of this 411, and got a default judgment against Oldridge(??).

Davis then sued Corona Aircraft and got a default judgment (??), in 2005 that I am still trying to get set aside. Davis is a disgraced ex attorney.  He withdrew from the bar with charges pending in 2004 before he was disbarred.

Injuries: 2 Serious.While within a two mile final to the runway, the airplane suddenly veered to the left of the approach and descended to the ground. The aircraft collided with the level terrain in a wings level and nose down attitude. The aircraft slid about 150 feet before coming to rest on its belly next to a road. The fuel cells were compromised and there was evidence of a fuel spill of unknown quantity. During the follow-up wreckage inspection, there was no evidence found to indicate a mechanical failure or malfunction. Inspection of the maintenance logbooks found that although the aircraft had been signed-off for an annual inspection, there was several discrepancy items noted, to include leaking fuel cells, which had not yet been repaired/replaced, and the aircraft was not signed off in an airworthy condition. This discrepancy list was given to the owner/operator. The pilot, who was in the process of purchasing this aircraft from an aircraft broker, stated that he was unaware that the aircraft was not airworthy, and was told by the broker that it was okay to fly the aircraft. The pilot was however, aware of the leaking fuel cells.The National Transportation Safety Board determines the probable cause(s) of this accident as follows:Aircraft control was not maintained during approach for landing.Full narrative available
