Texas Payday Act states that a terminated employee must receive their last paycheck within 6 days of termination, Cannot make deductions out of an employees check that would put them under minimum wage, or make unauthorized deductions from an employees check.

Robert Suarez never pays an employee their last paycheck within 6 days, he deducts money from employees paychecks for mistakes(fines)he withholds checks from employees that he feels owes him something, he withholds the last pay check unless you do an exit interview, many employees wait months to get their last check or don't receive it at all.

All of these things are in violation of the Texas Payday Law

ddt was one of the employees that helped hide what the manager did, i have proof of this that he gave me personally, i also have documents to back up my truthful story including check stubs, payroll deduction reports and the lack of any written authorization for any of these deductions will be enough to have the TWC to look into this. i also have a statement from the manager in question denying my involvement in his actions, so my actual evidence trumps your scoop.

One of the major improvements that came with the latest Texas payday laws was enforcement.   They made it very easy to make claims and pursue damages.

" Robert Suarez never pays an employee their last paycheck within 6 days, he deducts money from employees paychecks for mistakes(fines)he withholds checks from employees that he feels owes him something, he withholds the last pay check unless you do an exit interview, many employees wait months to get their last check or don't receive it at all. "

The Texas Workforce Commision claims to take reports like this seriously.   What happened when these violations were reported?
