I've been receiving emails from someone calling themsevles "Robert Williams" from the email address firstname.lastname@example.org. He claims to be from the "National Bureau of Identification" (which was defunct as of 1924 - a quick Google search will show that) and says that I owe $1,050 on some mystery debt. He threatens you with legal action, that he's going to forward it to the DA or some judge. Total scam! I didn't respond to any of his emails, but forwarded them to the FTC. If he contacts you, I suggest you do the same. What government official would use a Gmail address?! Ridiculous!
