I purchased a mattress costing over $1200 from Rooms to Go in Bluffton, SC which was a large purchase for my budget.  I was told I had a 10 year warranty.  After 5 years it was showing signs of serious sagging and I contacted customer care, they told me the manufacturer was out of business and that they would not honor my warranty.  I would have never purchased a mattress from Rooms to Go if it wasn't for this warranty and never expected to have a high end mattress deteriorate so quickly.  I have never been so disappointed with a purchase or the level of customer service in my life and I will never purchase 1 item from this company again.

I am aware that of the unforeseen circumstances around this purchase, but seeing the amount of claims and complaints against Rooms to Go regarding unhappy purchases and warranty issues, you might need to consider changing your policies and you might actually retain a few customers.

The very least you can do is stand behind your products and honor the products as a Rooms to Go purchase with your own warranty.  I am not surprised that the location I bought my mattress from is no long open.  I have opened a claim with the Better Business Bureau and I am not going away.  You might want to reconsider how you treat your customers, many retail companies are closing and negative publicity spreads very fast.  I am a business owner and would never want a customer upset or remorseful about their purchases from my store, it's time you think about the importance of building good customer relationships.

Im so sorry to hear about your mattress.  We at Rooms To Go had no way of foreseeing the issue that you had with the mattress nor did we expect the manufacturer to go out of business.  If we had known this prior, I can promise you that other actions would have been suggested.
