The representative from Rove was very friendly. He was young, but seemed to know what he was talking about. He told us that our yard had a lot of ants and that they could "take care of it" for us. He talked about how other people in our neighborhood were paying much more for pest control in their homes and yards than Rove's offer. He did not once mention that there were two different prices for home and yard treatment. When we signed the contract for multiple visits, he left us under the impression that the yard and house would both be covered. We did not get a copy of the contract, which we should have insisted on. When the people came to complete our first treatment, they only treated our home. We were told that the representative who visited our house must have been wrong. Yard treatment would be much more expensive. Now we are stuck in a year long contract that would take us hundreds of dollars to break. After one visit, I can't say that the service they do provide is particularly substandard, but I would caution that you get a lot more direct answers before signing. See it in writing and get a copy of the contract for yourself. Know exactly what you are signing up for, and do not let them trick you. We were fooled, and now we are feeling ripped off.
