I just want to say that as a regular online buyer, after dealing with Royal camera, I am fully disgusted and appalled at the way Royalcamera.com do business. they are:
1# Deceptive: Prices of their products online are an "alluring" device which makes online buyers "think" they've found the best possible LOW price online/elsewhere. WRONG.. BUYERS BEWARE, Royal camera only sell the product for a low price because they take accessories that usually already come with the camera and tell u it doesnt come with the camera and so you have to pay an excessive amount for these accessories. overall, you're spending just the same or even more than other stores.
They will scheme their way by talking absolute CRAP and say "believe me, im not making any profit from this, im not kidding, you're lucky you even found us.." WRONG! Royal camera is a nightmare and a disgrace to the business society. They will pressure you until they get what they want. Dont fall for their schemes and atlking tactics. best advice: HANG UP.
2# Dishonest. as above. PLUS on their invoices, they dont show that you bought extra accessories. it will come as one package, treating your purchase as one item. usually over $100 (in my case $300 more than what the price was initially on their website..)
3# no communication. They will not call u, u have to waste money and time to call the mand follow them up for YOUR order. they wont email you unless they are getting something out of it ie: if u want an invoice/ confirm your online purchase sent to u via email, no can do. they change their emails and trade as two or more different companies.
4# pressure. THATS what they do to make u buy more things. they pressure u and hound u to buy more and more things. best advice: HANG UP..always!
5# Rude customer service. when i asked them politely about the price, they INTENTLY cut me off and avoided telling me the overall price, while they again pressure me into buying the unneccessary accessories. they also raised their voices and told me to "shush" and to give them a chance while they look at my order. WHO DOEST THAT???? TELLLS CUSTOMERS TO "SHUSH"????
overall, ROYAL CAMERAS are no worse than theives.
my story: basically, im an international buyer who was purchasing a dig. camera which was priced $625 on thier site. then after they pressured me into buying accessories (which iwas at the time unaware of..) it all amounted to US$989.00 plus over $139. shipping. i was abit uneasy talking to "larry" on the phone and thought it might've been a scam so i looked online to see if Royal Camera was involved with any fraud etc.. and i found that they were! so - this being after i made the payments - i contacted authorities from my Country and let them know.. let my bank know, let my lawyers know.. and then i wrote Royal Camera an email letting them who was in charge: ME!
i was the buyer giving them business, so i deserved the utmost respect as a customer / buyer. i let them know that if they were to abuse my Credit Card or my trust in buying from them or if the product i was to purchase was in anyway used or greymarketed /black market, i would sue them and let my lawyers know, whom inturn would get intouch with them personally in the USA. well, after some long email exchanges, 2days before the fedex package was to arrive, the package was stopped. i found this odd - from seeing the package status on the fedex website/tracker - so i called fedex and they told me that "Larry" fro Royal Camera had asked 'rudely' for the camera to be returned, with no reasons. Fedex was kind enough to let me know and so IMMEDIATELY i called royalcamera. no answer. i emailed them, no answer. so i madea dispute claim via my bank and my lawyers are waiting to take action. im still waiting for my money to be refunded, as Royal camera has not notified me ONE SINGLE BIT!
buyers beware, AVOID ROYAL CAMERA, CCI camera city... fraud, liars..everything that associates with the term "bad business"..
