We were in Cancun, Mexico in october 2010. Two or three days
after we were there we had solicitation from agents at the desk, to go to a presentation at the Park Royal Caraibes hotel. Several things that they told us were wrong and misrepresented. Alcoholic breverages were served to us as we were listening to their lies. I could think that the drinks were contaminated with illegal substances. This presentation that should of have lasted 45 minutes, were an endless 3 to 4 hours. We were shown luxury beachfront suites that actually don't belong to them and were told that these buildings were strictly reserved for Royal Holiday members.
Still at the presentation, we were told and confirmed that no room in any hotel would ever be under a 4star rateing and that they would all be at a presidential class or better. Also they said that for a slight amount more per month we would have the all inclusive included in our package every where in america, Republic Dominicain and Mexico. When we called to try and have info, once we came back home we were then told that there was no such thing as that. They said that an all inclusive can be had but it costed between 35$ and 70$ per day per personne, depending on the season. They also said, that there was a specified travel agency in the united states that we take arrangements with for flights at 25% regular price.
They also said that we could accumulate our unused points year after year.
After 6 days that we had signed papers with them we went back to complain about the free tour bonus that was given to us. We never got the 400.$ worth. So we went back to see them for refund and they said that it was too late that it was no longer then 5 days for cancellation of the contract. We were too late.
We were also told that the RCI company had an exchange arrangement with their clients and those of Royal Holidays. Never were we able to even enter the temporarily password to try and reserve with them. They, Royal Holidays, clearly stated to us that, if for any reason we would attempt to reserve and that the product was not to our satisfaction, they would buy back to full cost as of the first five years. They also said that the package price was only for today, now. Tomorrow's price was almost double.
Who would'nt believe this with all that magic dust they blew in our faces.Paying all that for what we were shown was rather adequate to us, but that was not it.
The manager there, Ernesto Barberi, came to the table and encourraged the extreme high pressured sale. When i asked him, on the day we went back to cancel, why he did this, he simply said for the money, this is how i bring my fianc shopping in New-York . He laughed and turned away. No remorse at all. Nancy D'Argence was appointed to us as our membership responsable. She never got on the phone and never answered our emails.
Everytime we called we were told lies and never did we get anything out of thoses conservations except frustration. We were harassed and severley threatened by Royal Holidays and Concorde credit servicing that were supposed to be a financing company for their members. It turns out to be, that they do own this company and that things were set up to make us think we will lose our credit if Concorde denounces us as bad payers.
We have never traveled with our Royal Holidays vacation package because we beleive that this was not what we bought. We are sueing them for damages and interest of over 50,000$ and 16,000$ for the vacation plan, plus any attorney fee that could be charged for the settlement of this lawsuit.
From this day on, we have ceased to pay those frauders until a court of law decides otherwise.
