We were looking for movers on movers.com. A Mr. Lucci called and came to my place to give an estimte. He said we had a small moving job and quoted us $700 total for everything. We signed on the spot and gave a $150 deposit on a credit card. We agreed for the 15th of May. On 5/15 the movers show up and start to load up the truck. They finish loading up and arrive at my new place.

They unload my washer and my dryer and then stop working. This Eric Lucci comed down and said that unless he gets $1000 cash now they are driving away with our things. We didn't have the money b/c the move was charged to our credit card, and they started to pull away. We called the cops who were totally useless and said it's a civil matter. The movers drove away with our things. They left the washer and dryer sitting in my driveway as it started to rain. Because the electronics got wet, they are both now broken and beyond repair. That night Lucci called and demanded $1790 cash the next morning or he'll hold our stuff for as long as he likes.

The next morning we paid. I had no clothes for my kids, no diapers, no medicine. I had no choice, I needed my things. They were supposed to come by 10:30 that morning. But they never showed. By 11:30 our lawyer contacted Lucci and threatened arrest if they don't come by 12:00. We had paid and had a reciept so the cops could actually arrest them now. A little after 12 two workers show up. The third worker showed up 2 hours later, when the unloading was almost done. And one worker was drunk and even had the nerve to ask for a beer. Finally they were done, and I was happy to see them leave.

They are the biggest group of extortionist thieves I have ever met and I plan on going after them in court to get my money back. Beware and avoid. I have moved many times before and have never had any problems until now.
