I HAVE BEEN ROYALLY SCAMMED BY ROYAL PRESTIGE...
LIKE THE REST OF YOU I WAS LURED TO THEIR PRESENTATION WITH "FREE PRIZES."
THEY TOLD ME I WON A FREE TRIP, FREE CAMERA W/ 100 ROLLS OF FILM, AND A 40% DISCOUNT ON ANY MERCHANDISE I BOUGHT FROM THEM.
WELL I SAT THROUGH THE PRESENTATION. I THOUGHT THE PRODUCT WAS GREAT BECAUSE THEY TALKED ABOUT ALL THE HEALTH BENEFITS AND ABOUT HOW OTHER POTS WERE DANGEROUS AND HARMFUL.
THEY TALKED ABOUT HOW A SMALL CHILD DIED FROM EATING FOOD COOKED FROM A POT THAT WASNT THEIRS. THEY TALKED ABOUT HOW OTHER POTS CAUSE DISEASES. SO MY FIANCE AND I BUY THE POTS. THEY TELL US HOW WE WOULD GET A THE DISCOUNT WHEN WE SEE OUR BILL.
THEY GO ON AND ON ABOUT THIS GREAT PAYMENT PLAN FOR JUST 50 BUCKS A MONTH.
THE FREE CAMERA IS A 29.99 CAMERA AND THE 100 ROLLS OF FILM IS A A CERTIFICATE FOR A FREE ROLL EVERYTIME YOU DEVELOP FILM WITH THEM UP TO 100 ROLLS.
THE FREE TRIP IS JUST FOR A 3-NIGHT HOTEL STAY NOT INCLUDING AIRFARE.
SO WE GOT SUCKERED.
WHEN THE BILL COMES THERE IS NO DISCOUNT AND WHEN I CALL THEM TO INQUIRE ABOUT IT THEY INSIST THAT THE DISCOUNT WAS ALREADY APPLIED AT POINT OF PURCHASE.
THE BILL ALSO STATES A 24% FINANCE CHARGE, WHICH WAS NEVER MENTIONED. WHEN I TELL THEM THIS THEY SAY WELL DIDN'T YOU FILL OUT THE CREDIT FORM.
I INFORM THEM THAT THE FIANCE CHARGE WAS NEVER MENTIONED... THEY DON'T CARE. THEY ARE VERY RUDE WITH ME AND YELL AT ME. I CALL THEM SCAMMERS AND THEY TAKE OFFENSE.
SO NOW I HAVE FOUR POTS THAT COSTED ME $1250.00, WHICH THEY SAY WAS ORIGINALLY $1700.00. WHEN I BOUGHT THE POTS I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A 40% DISCOUNT ON THE $1250.
IF ANYONE ELSE HAS PROBLEMS/ COMPLAINTS WITH THIS COMPANY I THINK WE SHOULD ALL BAND TOGETHER AND FIGHT THE BASTARDS. THEY HAVE HAD TROUBLE BEFORE.

Damn good pots and pans!

I purchased the health system cookware from Royal Prestige and I love it! Of course, my experience is probably attributed to different salespeople.
There was mention of the studies done on dangers of cookware, but they focused more on the quality. No, aluminum cookware won't give you alzheimers, but what happens when you drop it around a few times? (Did your salespeople come in with the sad looking pots and pans?)
Teflon cookware might not kill your kid, but you know what? That non-stick teflon coating will wear off after about a year of heavy use. Will eating teflon kill you? No...all things in moderation, I say. :)
Royal Prestige cookware is great! It cooks as well at home as it does for the demo. Granted the cleaning isn't quite as easy as they make it seem on the video. (You did watch the video, didn't you?)
True, they do send you a crappy camera and a single roll of film. And true you do get a free hotel room for a few days as one of the trips, and you do have to pay for your airfare to the all inclusive one. However, our salesperson was upfront about it!
All in all, they're some damn good pots and pans! If they would knock the price down, I would buy more of 'em! If you really want to talk about ripoffs, you should check with the people who made your keyboard. It's like the caps lock is stuck on it or something.
