On or around 6-20-03 my fiancee recieved a call from a company named Royal Prestige stating that we had won an all expense paid honeymoon, and all we had to do to claim the prize was to show up at the Marriot on 6-27. The woman who called also said that we had to sit though a 1 hour presentation but that we wern't obligated to purchase anything.

On 6-27-03 we attended the presentation at the Marriot. The presentation was for cookware and dishes so we sat through it. The merchandise was presented by Jordan Gerardi, who was obviously a well trained sales man. During the presentation Mr. Geradri talked about the evils of cooking with any other pots and pans other than Royal Prestige's. He made it sound like that if you had kids or were expecting that if you didn't buy from them than they were going to die. Well us being parents of a two year old, decided to buy a set, but I also noticed something else.

When I approached Jordan at the end of the presentation his first words were, "So what package are you going to buy". This comment made me feel uncomfortable, for when he said it he made it sound like if we didn't buy it we wouldn't get the honeymoon. Not only was Jordan pushy and never made it sound like we weren't obligated to buy, but him and his partner look like they are both on steroids, making it seem like they are both using scare tactics.

I also noticed that the couple before us didn't buy anything. Well I also didn't see that couple walking out with their free honeymoon package. After 2 days I decided to investigate. It turns out that Royal Prestige all ready had hundreds if not thousands of complaints against them. I then decided to call Jordans "direct line", but everytime I called I only got a secratary who said Jordan is out of the office, making it impossible to cancel my contract because the lady said only Jordan handles that particular type of problem.

The next day I called three different numbers and got the same lady, even though she was polite it was clear to me that she wasn't going to tell me how to contact Jordan. I then waited till my shipment arrived. This process took about 3 weeks and that's when I called Al Vaughters. Mr.Vaughters told me to call them and tell them I didn't want it. I called Royal Prestige immediatly, but this time I was told that I cannot return it because it would cause problems with the bank they go through. Since then until now I have talked to a group called Hycite about 6 times they claim to work directly for Royal Prestige.

All they want to know is when I am going to pay. The most recent conversation took place on 10-2 where I talked to a woman named Lisa at 1-800-280- #### ext.6308. I told her my dilemma and told her how I didn't want to do business with them. She said "we have been cleared of all charges and complaints against us," and told me "we'd love to hear from your lawyer," I said "that's fine." It is not only that we are unhappy with how we were treated by Royal Prestige, but also how I don't have 2,000 to spend on pots and pans right now.

The main reason we tried sending them back was, my fiancee has had to have surgeries and tests done to determine whether or not she has cancer and I tried telling them this right at the beginning of July, and told them I wanted to return them in there original packaging and that they were never used. I was told there is nothing they could do except to defer my payments for a month or two, which they didn't even do. I guess all I want is to return the pots and pans back to them and get my money back which I have been trying to do since two days after I bought them. I also want to make people aware of how Royal Prestige really is. Thank you for your time and I would really appreciate your help.

FRAUD

AUTHOR: Melissa - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, November 06, 2005

Any sales rep who won't respond to the customers nor will do his/her part to make sure the customer is 100% happy is a fraud. Jordan Gerardi kept promising 100% satisfaction during his 11-4-05 presentation at the Hilton in Raleigh, NC. But I believe my fiance and I are in for an uphill battle with this company. What do they mean by 100% satisfaction if you cannot return the product. It's nothing but FRAUD and I hope this website will help future engaged couples and and newlyweds.

Royal Prestige products are awesome!

AUTHOR: Jason - (U.S.A.)

Has anyone actually used there cookware. I have, me and my family have been using there cookware for six years know. I actually stay in touch with the sales represenative to give him referalls. Six years ago I so a demonstration and I was blown away. Do you realize that non-stick pans, teflon pans, aluminum pans and all pot's and pans are really unhealthy for you. Do yourself a favor take one of your pots boil on cup of water then put a tablespoon of baking soda in the pot. What you are going to taste is the metal, aluminum, petroleum, etc...When was the last time you doctor told you that you need a little more metal in your diet? You can bash royal prestige all you want but there cookware is awesome it saved my family time, money and more importantly we are eating healthy getting all the nutrition out of our vegetables and we are not cooking with any grease or oil. You may think I work for the company, I don't, I just love there cookware. Do the test and see (or throwup) for yourseld and your family.
