I was looking for a different facility to board my horse and checked Rushing Wind on the web. Of course I saw and read the Rip Off Reports.
What concerned me was not that people complain about things, but the IMMATURE and ATTACK-style of the managers rebuttals to the former boarders.
If he is such a good and knowledgable manager he should have kept a cool head, considered and treated the complaints as constructive criticism. Let the public know that he would review the complaints and take what they said and treat it in a business like manner. Instead he chose to attack and try to belittle their complaints and concerns.
Very immature and inappropriate. The way he responded make their complaints even more credible.

I am Protective Dad and here is my report for you, (Tyg), to read, in fact everyone should know this information before making a decision to board their horse at Rushing Wind:
My daughter used to board her horse at Rushing Wind Stables. I told her to leave there after I did a background check on the manager Jared Mulvaine.
What I found is all public information: Jared has been in court at least 15 times (many were superior court), different counts including drugs, theft, assault and a felony conviction and others. Also what appears to be a firearms violation because of the felony.
Felonies are very serious charges and go with serious offenses. As we all know felonies are reserved for the bad guys not your petty misdemeamors.
I report this because my daughter said some boarders were complaining and Jared had in his rebuttals done his usual toothy smart aleck attacking way. I guess the old quote a tiger doesn't change his stripes applies here.
I am sure this report will be addressed by him in the same manner as the other rebuttals. As a husband and father I sure as heck don't want my daughter or wife around that type of person. And further more, Jarod does not take care of the horses properly, they are underfed and never go in the stalls.

I read Protective Dads report then did my own searching only to find everything is accurate, Jared Mulvaine has quite the rap-sheet. I think it's safe to say Protective Dad has ended this conversation.

You do realize that the manager isnt a manager 24/7? That they are a human being and not a Vulcan. 1. Ppl b8tch to b*tch. Be it a real or percieved slight. Ppl are jacka**es who think the world must revolve around them since it cant possible exist without them. 2. Ppl demand "special" treatment but dont want to pay for it. Ppl expect something for nothing. Then we have you....who decided to toss their 2 cents in on a few situations that you dont have all the information on. So YOU speculate then post.
I dont know this person that you CLAIM to be immature. But I deal with enough ppl on a daily basis in a retail enviroment to spot a busy body. Before you judge someone on the EXTREMLY BIASED posts you have read, because EVERYONE HAS A SOB STORY AND EVERYONE PLAYS THE VICTIM. I would suggest that you go and meet this individual that you have so kindly posted your PERSONAL OPINION about in person.
But that would require you to be brave and put your money where your mouth is. And we KNOW that isnt going to happen.
