On October 29th 2009 I paid for a roundtrip flight using Travelocity. I was on the phone with the Travelocity agent for about and hr trying to get the best deal, at the end of the call I was asked for my email address so that Travelocity could send me a confirmation of my transaction and travel details.

So, after I gave the agent my card info and everything was ran the agent advised me to  check my email to receive my travel confirmation and check card approval info. So I take my trip and return the following week to discover Travelocity has not decucted the charge from my account.

 Essentially causing my account to be overdrawn, this constitues wrong doing based on the email Travelocity sent me that very minute stating my transaction was approved and processed.

So what this lead to is the situation of an overdrawn account and Travelocity refusing to take responsibility for wrongdoing. Travelocity  executive offices were contacted immediately when I learned my account was overdrawn and that Travelocity failed to process the transaction honorably as the email confirmed.

Travelocity has asked me to jump through hoops and I have sent all supporting documentation including letters from my bank and phone calls from my bank reps to assist in resolving this nightmare.

The fact is Travelocity/Sabre Holdings boasts about their billion dollar a year sales and overseas business expansions yet they have succeeded in taking 500 dollars from a single mother. 

Travelocity uses customer service reps from India to do their dirty work and rip off unsuspecting Americans. If the American public only had an idea about Travelocitys business practices the boasting of Sabre Holdings billion dollar a year sales would come to a stop.

I am currently in the process of finding an attorney to represent me in a class action suit involving Travelocity's policy on check card transaction processing times and making disclaimers available for the american public to be aware of. This is how Travelocity is so successful : deception, fraud and practices that are hidden.
