I just started attending Sanford Brown College in April 2011. After all the complications that I went through there.... like teachers dropping, my program director teaches several of the classes needed to graduate, I just gotten frustrated. So i decided to go to a community college. When I attended and spoken to a guidance counselor i was told that none of my credits are transferable and not only that if I wanted to attend I will have to start all over again. So of course, Im furious. I felt ripped off. Now im stuck here with loans that I have to pay back for credits that I will not even use. Then on top of that I dont even know if financial aid will even pay for me to take the same classes over again. And what adds the icing to this delicious cake is that when i started they lied to me and told me that all my credits were transferable and I could take them to any college as Im pleased. I dont just want to stop at an associates degree. I want to further my education. i guess im lucky that I found out sooner rather than later.
