SANTA BARBARA BANK AND TRUST (SBBT) ripoff TURBO TAX RIPOFF THROUGH SBBT ALL OF UNITED STATES - WARNING to all military men and women who wish to file their taxes through TURBOTAX and SBBT. SBBT trying to stick a knife in the backs of true hard working Americans Nationwide

This is a WARNING to all military men and women who wish to file their taxes through TURBOTAX and SBBT. When my military credit union offered me a discount for filing through turbotax(7.95) i thought "why not"? I thought i can save money and efile and everything for 7.95. ******* NOT TRUE***********

After filing through TurboTax i recieved a page saying that my taxes would now be sent to a second party (SBBT). I didnt panic at first, i thought well ok the turbotax websight still says efiling is free and im only paying 7.95 so im still saving money, Right? Wrong!!!!!!

I signed a few days later (because tuerbotax says it can take up to 14 days, so i was in no hurry). After signing in it said congratulations "your taxes have been accepted by a "Quote",,,,,,,,, TAXING AGENCY..... and told me to go to www.cisc.sbbtral.com to check the status of my return.. This is where it gets UGLY...

After going to the SBBT websight i was then told my taxes should be deposited into my account by (QUOTE)january 27th.. I thought hmmm this is 5 days longer than the maximum of fourteen days that Turbo tax had quoted.. Still i wasnt upset, whats 7.95 from my return to wait a little longer? No problem, until 3 days later i signed on to see a RIP OFF page saying your refund will cost you 35.95 which will be automatically withdrawn from your IRS refund.. I was furious and still am, I work hard and deserve every dime the Irs owes me. I do not recommend to anyone using Turbo Tax as I was just told a few hours ago By a turbo tax represenative named ROSE that they only go through SBBT.. If you request to have funds deposited into your account then SBBT can charge you anything they wish whether it be 80% or 200%....

I propose to the IRS that they take another look at using SBBT as a routing bank for E-ILING. Do you (the IRS) really like to see a bank like SBBT take so much money for such a small service? Your websight states how The IRS stands behind its commitment to fairness and seeing that every tax payer recieves what they are owed. Is this true or merely a false or misleading ststement??

I have always done rite by the Goverment, IRS, bank institutions and THE AMERICAN WAY... Is it really necessary for SBBT to charge high percentage rates for doing nothing more than transfering a refund? Im not sure if they even do that much.. I regretfully say that I am ashamed that a goverment agency such as the IRS is allowing taxpayers to be RIPPED OFF...

In America today we are experiencing troublesome times, IRAQ, terror threats, hurricane katrina, The virginia miner accident, and many more.. Yet on our own SOIL an american company SBBT is still trying to stick a knife in the backs of true hard working Americans..
