SBFC - SMALL BUSINESS FUNDING COMPANY TOOK MONEY DID NO WORK. ASKED FOR REFUND AND GIVEN RUNAROUND, CAN'T GET A LIVE BODY HENDERSON Nevada

I was contacted by Small Business Funding Company, in February about them doing some grant writing for my company. After a few phone calls and some research I decided to get on board. I paid the $2600 they wanted to get started and since then I have been ignored and given the runaround. Every time I call for an update or progress report I get someone's voicemail.

I have been told that the person handling my case doesn't work there anymore (not true). I have been bounced between customer service reps voicemails. The only person I have been able to get on the phone regularly is a receptionist.

I had to ask for a refund 5 times before I was told that they would forward my paperwork to their attorney to process it. (I wonder why they have to have one on staff in the office? Hmmmmm.)

I have placed 10 to 15 phone calls to the attorney and have not received any calls back. I have gotten his assistant who was nice until she found out I wanted a refund, and now does not return my calls or answer the phone.

After I requested a refund I received some quickly thrown together paperwork that was very poorly done and incomplete which shows me they are ignoring my request for a refund and attempting to show that they are doing work in order to deny my request for refund.

I have wasted a huge amount of my time trying to deal nicely with this company that is obviously just out for the quick easy buck. I have been contacted by them about setting up a non-profit business in Nevada for about 10 times the price I could do it myself, and to make a business plan for another $6000 dollars. Which is part of their paperwork anyway.

I am still waiting for a return call from the attorney or his assistant. I will keep updating this report. If you want to avoid a huge headache and an empty pocket avoid this company.
