Our sofa was purchased from SCS and delivered in July last year, 2011. When it was delivered it was apparent that it was not as discribed by the sales person in the shop, and how i had specifically stated. 

Our first problem was with the back cushions. The sofa we had ordered was to have full solid back cushions, when delivered, it came with only 3 solid and 2 scatter back when i had stated in the shop that I do not like and did not want any scatter back and was told by the sales rep that this was not a problem. 

When reported, SCS sent out an upholster...not quite sure why as all i wanted was for the corner cushions to be delivered as stated. In the mean time, it was noticed that one of the solid cushions was seriously out of shape and basically looked like it had been shoved in a corner and sat on for months. Also, the three solid cushions did not even match! 

We were told that they would not do anything about this and that we needed to 'plump' them up ourselves. Not acceptable in my opinion for a brand new sofa! 

I made another complaint about this and also had to report that since then corner seat had actaully come updone.

Once again, the same upholster was sent round and this was fixed, but the same thing was said about the cushion that we were told would go back into shape after a few week (which never has)  

When we received news that nothing was being done with regards to the mis shapen and cushion and the fact that they didnt even match i called to find out what was going on with our other 2 corner cushions that the initial complaint was about only to be told that this has never been reported and it was now too late to do anything! 

I called the store to sort this who said that thats how the sofa came and the sales rep had probably told us otherwise just to get a sale! 

I have since given up on this matter as wasnt getting anywhere and didnt really know what to do about it, untill i saw this week on your program 'rip off britain' that thee was a segment on SCS and how others had had similar problems.
