Roof damage was done in September by a roofing scam...twice. Servpro was hired by Dana co. insurance company, and has failed to resolve an electric problem in our attic caused by a subcontractor hired by him. Insulation was blow in attic on Christmas Eve during the day on the North/South side of attic over the North entry of our condo building. I was doing laundry and witnessed the insulators in this attic and shortly after they left I noticed the lights out on the North entry area. I called Servpro the next morning and they said they were not on the North side of building.As of today 2-19-10 this electric wire is still exposed in attic. DMFD were notified in writing and phone. Police were also notified.Servepro apparently has no concern for safety issues.

Once again the Contract was withthe association. I have spoken with the president after the completion of our service. And about your concerns. It was determined that there was no responsibility to SERVPRO for your concerns and that these issues were unrelated. The association president inspected and signed the certificate of satisfaction. If there are unresolved issues than the president of the association needs to contact us. No complants have ever been filed or brought to our attention by the association. You as a UNIT owner, there was no damage to your unit. The unit owners affected we had contracts signed and certificates of satisfaction signed. Please follow the proper channels of filing your complaints through the association and have your president contact us if the board feels there are issues we are responsible for. If we are not contacted by the Association president about these concerns and these accusations continue we will consider this Harassment and take the proper legal channels.

Owner...You may want to sit down and have a serious... factual... conversation with your source. Your 'source' hired this roofer without a meeting and without the consent or signatures required and refused to remove him after nine weeks. His rap sheet with 37 charges against him was provided to everyone in this building before a shingle was touched. He was 23 years old. You didn't hire him and I didn't either...your 'source' did. And refused to remove him. Unit #4 K.F. contacted an attorney to have him removed.

I stand by every word I have provided and I have shared this information including many documents, with as many persons who will investigate this crime...including this report. Local government included.

Your 'source' is putting leins against my property...for your negligence. This is outrageous and your responsibility not mine. The attorney David Wetsch must have known why he was asked to remove Medalis from this property on November 3, 2009. All of us knew why this roofer was removed including Servpro.

The owner of these complaints is a tenant in the building.

SERVPRO was referred by the insurance company and hired by the building association to mitigate and restore damages cause by roofing in progress and heavy rains that caused damages in the building. No damages were sustained to this tenants unit. The loss is 2 years old. The loss was repaired and inspected to code. Loss damages did not require building to be rewired. The roofers were not hired, referred or contracted by SERVPRO.

The insurance company and association has investigated these persons concerns and found no evidence to support her complaints. Nothing was founded by the police or DMFD. SERVPRO will stand behind their services. Evidence has proven that there are no issues to be resolved. It is requested that this person address these issues with their association as there is no relations to SERVPRO or a contract with this person making these accusations.

Brian...you were contacted the next morning and you denied any fault. You were wrong and it was your responsibility to take care of this electrical damage. This damage by your insulating contractor created December 2009, was not fixed until March 20, 2012. Serious safety issue with no lights in stairwell, entry and porch for more than two years. Open wiring during this time. Three electrical companies were paid. Bierman,Action Electric and Lazur Electric. This was Servpro responsibility. Negligence and breach of fiduciary responsibility.



I am a condo owner and I paid you with my monthly maintainence fees. The so called 'president' did nothing and ignored this problem that should have been paid for by Servpro. This person also is responsible for all of this damage to this building by insisting on hiring a criminal to roof this building and then an attorney needed to remove him from this property...after nine weeks and thousands in damages all reported to the Iowa Attorney General with a file created on August 17, 2009. The roofer is now in prison on unrelated charges.  



Stairwell handrails, that should not even have been removed, were 80 year old walnut with old brass hardware and you replaced with cheap white pine and white metal hardware. Only one example of your lack of integrity. Our wiring was not replaced only repaired.

This building is multi-dwelling unit. The electrical concerns are in the common areas of the building. Not your unit. An electrician was hired to inspect the wiring. Electrical system in the building is out dated and does not meet code requirements. No electrical repairs were performed or were required during the loss. The electrician determined that there was no relation to your electrical concern and the loss or our workmanship. SERVPRO was not hired by Dana Co. but by the association. SERVRPRO was not hired by you and we do not have a contract with you for services. The insurance company and association president at the time determined that there was no connection to the electrical concern and the loss or our workmanship. You were advised that if you felt different that you were to hire an electrician to inspect the concern and if it was determined by your electrician that there was a connection with the concern and our workmanship or the original loss that the issue would be addressed. DMFD or Police department have not contacted us about your concern. This issue is between you as unit owner and your association. SERVPRO was paid with a two party draft from your association’s insurance company and signed by your association’s president. Your association has paid its deductible in full. Payment was not received in full till the completion of the repairs. A Certificate of Satisfaction was signed by your association. Please retract your complaint or please provide a report to your association with documentation that links us to your concern besides coincidence. Once that is provided we will address this with your association.
