SKS Associates Northern Leasing Systems, Inc Illegal bank withdrawal for returned credit card equipment. Alleged property taxes and fees of 195.00 New York, New York

Received a letter from SKS Associates on 03/30/2011 stating that they had obtained all the rights, title and interest in certain leases owned by Northern Leasing Systems, Inc and that our Lease was part of that aquisition.  They also said that an audit was conducted on our lease and that we owed them 195.00 for unpaid property taxes and fees.  The letter was dated 03/25/2011 and our checking account was debited on 03/29/2011.

Our business returned the Credit Card equipment in 2004 when we changed processing companies and cancelled our lease with Northern Leasing Systems, Inc..  In 2008 we discovered that there was a monthly automatic withdrawal of 90.00 that was being taken from our business checking account by Northern Leasing.  After contacting Northern Leasing, we were told that we were still being charged the monthly fee because we had not returned all the equipment.  After paying them over 300.00 the debit was discontinued.

After reading other Rip-Off reports it appears that SKS Associated and Northern Leasing are all in this together.  I urge all of you that have been taken by these people to contact the Attorney General's Office of your State and the State of New York, as well as the FTC and the BBB.  They need to be stopped!!
