1. CALL THE 800 NO.LISTED UNDER THE 3RD PARTY BILLING AND TELL THEM YOU DID NOT ORDER THE SERVICE--WRITE DOWN THE DATE THE SERVICE WAS SUPPOSEDLY ORDERED AND THE DATE YOU CALL TO CANCEL IT, ALSO WRITE DOWN THE CANCELLATION NUMBER THEY GIVE YOU.
2.CALL YOU PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER AND HAVE A BLOCK PUT ON 3RD PARTY BILLING. TELL THEM IF YOU WANT 3RD PARTY BILLING ONLY TO ALLOW IT IF IT IS IN WRITING BY YOU. ASK THEM TO TAKE THE CHARGES OFF YOUR BILL AND FILE A DISPUTE WITH THE BILLING AGAINST THE COMPANY --WRITE DOWN THE NUMBERS THEY GIVE YOU FOR THIS AS WELL AS THE DATE.
3. IF THEY TRY TO BILL YOU VIA--SEND THE BILL BACK AND WRITE A LETTER DISPUTING THE CHARGES.
4. REPORT THEM TO EVERY AGENCY THAT HANDLES CONSUMER PROTECTION PROBLEMS.
5.DO NOT OPEN EMAIL WITH ANYTHING "FREE" OR YOU HAVE WON SOMETHING AS THE HEADING. YOU CAN BE SIGNED UP FOR SERVICES JUST BY OPENING THESE EMAILS.
